Pretty sure 3GS is almost as powerful as this. With a much bigger gaming library and a lot smaller in size.
I honestly don't know. My friend is getting one so he will tell me all about it plus you can see for yourself in the youtube videos. Holy hell look at firefox on this thing. It's like the desktop version
Wanted this like a year go, now not so much. Will keep an eye on it though to see what becomes of it. Edit: Still not out yet I believe, according to their website.
it has a 4.3" touchscreen with stylus-able resistive tech, and latest hardware, omgsegfhjsdiogigjgbpo[fkjbf\ dsfgsd sdfyjthkip' MY LIFE FOR YOU!!!!!!!!1111
Looks too chunky and rather ugly. Plus I prefer the more streamlined aspect of the OS on the iDevices and I'd rather not carry a stylus with me.
Well I for one will be getting one, and no the 3GS is not as powerful as the Pandora. It will be worth getting one just for the emulators alone. Definitely one for the homebrew fan, and not really a mainstream device. 1st production run is 4000 which are pretty much sold.
That sounds about right -- seems like a pretty specialized device, which could work if they can get the word out to the right audience. Not for me, but I would be curious to see one in action.
This thread is actually in the wrong section -- it should be in other discussion, where it's okay to talk about other devices.
My former love, the N810 was sexier than this, but it did have a crappier keyboard and D-Pad. Nah, don't think I'll be getting one. If anything ever replaces my iPod Touch, it'll probably be Zii Egg. I'm good for now.
but i spent $400 on an ipod, that can already run all the games i have purchased on the app store,....i take it this thing can not, and would cost me another $330, and weigh that much more in my pocket, when my ipod does everything i want it to.....hmmm
This Pandora thing looks cool, and no doubt it's powerful, but it seems like a bit.... much. All I really care about having is emulators, so I can have all my old Nintendo & Sega games in my pocket. I used to have that with my M3 card for my DS, but now that I have a DSi there's no GBA slot so my M3 is basically useless. I'm sure I could track down a flash cart for my DSi, but I've been thinking about picking up one of these, the GP2X Wiz:
