Wow just saw a game called One Man Army in the app store! That is NOT our game... It just came out two weeks ago too! Anyone know the rules Apple has about creating a game with a similar name?
Not sure, but I think you should change the name to avoid having two apps of the same name which can cause confusion, or if they ask you to change the name after release or something. I do like the look of the game. I'll keep a close eye on this one.
Yeah we will have to change the name Good thing we have a subtitle called Chain Reaction. Hopefully if we call it One Man Army: Chain Reaction it will work. There was an app called Plants Vs. Zombies 2 Guide and it made it on the app store! Does anyone know how to change the thread title?
Happy to say we have officially submitted One Man Army: Chain Reaction to Apple. I've heard the average turnaround is two weeks but I won't hold my breath. One step closer to it's actual release sure feels good
Looks really fun! The only thing that really jumps out at me is that the enemy designs don't seem to have any cohesion with each other. What I mean is that they don't really seem to all be from the same 'universe' as it were. They all work separately, but together the rag tag team of mutants look odd... Though I am sure this won't have an impact on actual gameplay or how much fun I have playing... Cheers!
One Man Army is going to be out this week! We have a new trailer as well with some better gameplay footage - enjoy!
Actually we had already renamed the game by just adding TM at the end of it. I still don't really understand why the game came out early. It was something to do with Chillingo and Apple and Apple releasing the game accidentally on the wrong date. So Chillingo saw this and then took it off the app store because it wasn't ready to go on. Very strange! But either way it is actually coming out thursday and will stay in the app store. And we have already been working on updates so I'd love to hear any feedback of what you think it could use for updates. Thanks
Now I get it I thought I was going crazy. I had this game under my App shopper App wish list and it still shows it as out and everytime I press buy it can't find it and I really want to buy it. Now I know why. I was really wondering what happend and if it was a real game or what. I will buy it when it becomes available and let you know what I think.
