OMG Pirates! from MikaMobile (Zombieville USA) [In Review]

That means if they don't reject it we should see it hit the App Store sometime between Wednesday and Friday night (December 2nd-4th). My bet is Thursday. And I'll be buying a copy when it goes live

 

so many good games coming out in the next like 2-3 weeks ! at first i looked at this and thot i would not go near it but then i was sucked into the excitement, and with commanderdata saying that he expects it to be out on the 2nd-4th-
1. can anyone partially confirm that the reviewing process would really be that quick
2. if you are wrong commander data and im excited for nothing...you're going down...

 

Heh, you have almost nothing to worry about... It's been "Waiting for Review" since 11/19/2009. Today its status has changed to "In Review". Once you are "In Review" and Apple does not reject you the game becomes available for sale in 2 to 4 days in most cases. Which is why I specify Wednesday-Friday as possible release dates, at that point it will have been in review for two weeks total.

I've been pretty accurate with my past release estimates. I nailed the Battle for Wesnoth release almost exactly, and picked that date about two weeks in advance

 

When your in review it could be as short as 3 hours but that's only for really small apps so i think this will take a few days.

Not to be a party pooper, but we announced the game on 11/19, and actually submitted Sunday, 11/22. You may want to adjust your estimates/heart rate accordingly.

Still, it should be pretty soon now that its through the queue.

in days if you would care to guess from recent experiences maybe?

 

I'm gonna give it 2 more weeks AppStore had their bad rep before, but they seemed to be on a 2 week schedule up until Thanksgiving =/ (or it's just my illusion)

Ignoring Thanksgiving, when they would be having their Thanksgiving break and the game was submitting, that's another two weeks - if they continue with the not so bad track record.
