Looks great, I can't wait to play it either... Unfortunately, unless you Thanksgiving break extends through to December 7th or so, I think you will be disappointed with the standard approval wait time
Name's kinda terrible and thus folks are avoiding the thread due to its title and not giving it a chance. Gameplay is great but the theme is based off of an old meme that was never all that in the first place.
They should just call Ninjas vs Pirates, or something like that. OMG Pirates is pretty lame, even if the game looks awesome. What other titles do you all think they should give it? Maybe..."Many Pirates, One Ninja"!
They should call it "pirates of the caribbean".Oh no there's already a movie by that name.So maybe they should call this "privates of the caribbean"
To be honest I kinda regret the whole pirates vs. ninjas theme, I hope people don't turn up their noses at it simply because its corny. I think those who play it will find that its a solid beat em up first, and a goofy internet gag second. The originally idea for this game started way back before we began Zombieville, and at that time I mainly wanted to make a ninja-themed game, and the pirate enemies just started off as a gag. Well, a few cool pirate drawings later and I've got a whole game full of them... >.> We went with OMG Pirates! as a title just so it would be short and identifiable at a glance. We considered others, such as simply "Pirates vs. Ninjas" or "Pirate Ninja Showdown", which all seemed a little long and clunky.

maybe you should advertise this game by some contest or something? EVERYONE looks for promo codes or even a thread in the 'contests' section of this site. I for one hope it can be even close to castle crashers, because then I wont need knights onrush any more.
Heh, i can understand that, but I don't think you have to worry too much, given how successful zombieville was - and I think your fan base will prove helpful in that regard. And I like the name - definitely better than the other ones you were considering. It's funny and catchy, which matches the game itself. I'm looking forward to the game - I actually just removed zombieville this weekend in anticipation (I've had it ever since I got it, but these days I've got so many other games I rarely play it). I swear, I think the iphone has given me ADD - my attention is so split among so many different games, and I seem to get bored of them so quickly. And yet, I love the damn thing!

inkvaders was just like zombieville yet it didnt sell better. I thought it was slightly better than zombieville too!
I think usage of those characters is hi-larious! And graphically, you made it work. I don't think people will be turned off by it. That trailer is seriously one of the few that made me do a double take on it. And I don't say that very often! Hahaha .. I guess if you wanted more punch in the title you could've added an 'F' to the OMG !?
The pirate idea is cool! I don't know what others are thinking.. Especially because you made them look great, as the rest of the game.
Normally I would agree with you, but from the way you did it, I cant help but say this is nothing short from amazing and awesome! I LOVE the ninja idea, but fighting something other than pirates woulda been better. But again, Pirates is just fine CANT WAIT FOR THIS!
