Just gonna say... I realize that Team17 doesn't make MOBILE games specifically, but they make the best damn 'Worms' genre/style game. I've played a lot of the knockoffs, and while I don't always think the copy-cats are necessarily worse, in this case? I would go with official Worms every time. They still have that charm.
They said: We have a date in mind but cannot confirm it until it gets the nod. http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=64566768063&topic=8453#topic_top Hope it just gets approved soon!!!!!!
I think you took that facebook comment a little out of context. A user asked: "Are you guys letting it go live as soon as Apple approve it, or have you set a release date?" Team17: "We have a date in mind but cannot confirm it until it gets the nod." Their response makes me think that apple has approved it, but they still want to set their own release date on their own time frame. Its been submitted for over 11 days now too. meh, I hope its at least by Monday now
Apple's Review System Has Been Flawed For Exactly a Year. They must be swarmed by a massive influx of Apps Daily to take that long to review Apps. Or a team of two people are in charge of reviewing.
I tried the Lite and didn't really like it too much. Just sayin. And also, I have no doubt it might be solid but most people don't want to get both and most people in this thread would prefer to get Worms.
I'm sure most would want Worms instead of Star Hogs. A bit of a mistake (or perhaps just bad luck) on the part of IUGO to release their game at the exact moment that everyone is gagging for Worms...
Yeah I was thinking the same thing. I do like IUGO too but I really would rather have Worms. I'm looking forward to the full version of IUGO's A.D.D. though.
I'm dyin' for this.... I thought they'd release it today cause of the App Stores first birthday. That'd be awesome!
I don't know what it is about IUGO. Their games are quite quirky. I mean that in a good way. Not really main stream I would say. Do you know what I mean, or am I the only one here thinking that... Belated happy returns maybe
I still find it funny how worms is so liked when it's really a scorched earth clone which is really just a clone of some crappy Apple II game. Worms is a great sign of the evolution of a genre, being the peak of the artillery game style.
