Ah. OK. Sounds good. Since that was the only thing I was worried about, I'll definitely purchase the game once it comes out.
I wonder how much this is gonna cost. You guys also said that with the launch there'll be several maps included so I'm assuming that more will be added. My question is though, will it be included with free updates or will you charge us for them with the in-game purchase feature?
Looks like it could be good, also looks like it could completely fail and suck. I guess we will have to wait until it is released, and hope you guys got it right.
The price will be $2.99, final. At launch we will have 5 maps and we have an aggressive update schedule with a bunch of surprises in store in the coming months, and all this is free of charge. -Randy of FD
I'm not going to lie, it costs us quite a bit of resources to maintain servers capable of sustain a sizeable player base at any given time, but with that said, if the game take off expect Asia and Europe servers to follow relatively soon after launch (perhaps within the same month or two). It was a difficult choice to do only US but one which we had to do. -Randy of FD
Looks like you guys are going head to head with Killtest this summer... classic David and Goliath battle can't wait!
$2.99, not a bad price at all. This game looks better each time I check it out, let's get this thing submitted and approved!!
I thought I'd share with you the official BGM which I composed called "Prey". Right-click on the link and Save. iMech song "Prey" Enjoy. -Randy of FD
Well, out of this and KillTest (if everything goes as seen), KillTest willl dominate. But, this games frequent content updates and non-cocky developers might just make this game the user/costumer friendly game we need. And...appropriately priced. I bet KillTest is gonna be $10.....those b45t4rds..... Good luck guys!
And we know how that turned out didn't we? But then again, those were much much much different circumstances....I'll still probably end up buying both though. Lol. xD
I'm sure there's enough room for both games to exist especially since the style of play is rather different. I'm going to buy both too but right now I know what I'm getting with iMech while KillTest is still a bit of a mystery in terms of gameplay.
I just want to let everyone know that we've decided to delay submission a week or so to test on the new 3.0 firmware. While they're hard at work, the visuals team is trying to cram a few more visual assets and polishing the looks some more. In other news, we've been tweaking the gameplay to make the game a bit "faster" by giving decreasing the amount of shield usage when jet boosting plus we've adding a cool camera effect while boosting to give a sense of speed as well. The boost isn't ridiculously long but the modification allows people to get away / chase more frequently without seeming like there's no way to escape a flamethrow or machinegun in your face or catching your opponent. Bottom line, it's "funner" More updates soon. -Randy of FD
OMFG! THIS IS LIKE THE 5th F*CKING GAME IVE BEEN F*CKING WAITING FOR TO SAY THIS! ....ugh....sorry....
Yeah I apologize for the delay, we just need to make sure the game doesn't crash and burn on 3.0. You'll know as soon as we know when testing is done. -Randy of FD
