Anybody else re-connect after syncing update? My iPod has been stuck on back-up at about 20% for almost 20 minutes now.

 

ditto - tried restarting both the phone and my computer a couple of times, yet it still gets stuck during the backup process when I'm trying to resync my apps... I knew I should have waited to download 3.0...

Im leaving it alone to see if the process will complete itself, 25 minutes with no change...

 

The things I don't like about 3.0.
The App Store is very buggy.
Takes longer to turn off iDevice.
Takes longer to open iTunes/App Store
takes longer to turn on iDevice.

 

So is it worth it so far for iPod Touches?

 

might be because the itunes an appstore have been flooded with downloads of 3.0 software

 

I'm not sure if this is exactly the right place but I can't seem to find any other thread that's more relevant...

I'm just wondering does anyone know the release date of the 3.0 update in Taiwan - it's really freaking me out. The link is available from the Taiwanese apple website (http://www.apple.com/tw/ipodtouch/softwareupdate.html) but when I click on it to take me to the update in the Taiwanese store, I get this really irritating message about the item not currently available...

...I don't want to jailbreak my iTouch and d/ling from another store isn't possible as I only have a c/card registered to a bank in Taiwan. So... any suggestions? It's driving me really really crazy...
