Hi BBKing, if you are really interested in testing and giving me valuable feedback then please drop me the private message with your Testflight account. Thanks.
Icon I finally made a progress with an icon. I have three versions ready and it would be great to know which you like the most. Let's call them from left to right 1 and 2, the last below 3.
I'd vote for 1. 3 doesn't really fit and 2 doesn't show the octagon. 1 best represents the gameplay and visual style IMO
This reminds me strongly of Boson X, but with its own unique share of obstacles and control mechanics. Looking forward to its release. Oh, and I like the first icon too.
Exact-Psience Hi Exact-Psience, you are right with one thing. First impression of Octagon is Boson X similarity. I started my game on May this year. But I'm lucky, Boson X gameplay is different so much. Thanks for your post.
Voting thanks for votes. I decided to use icon 1.. I added game controllers support and tomorrow is that Day.. submit.. god bless me
Everyplay I've integrated Everyplay so you can share gameplay videos with your friends. Here is the first sample. https://everyplay.com/videos/1086108 You really need to focus hard to finish levels like this one.
Gameplays I have made several gameplay videos. Check especially the hyperhard level, it's really fun Octagon level 11 https://everyplay.com/videos/1085974 Octagon level 17 https://everyplay.com/videos/1086351 Hyperhard level 40 https://everyplay.com/videos/1088452
Congrats, Lukas I hope your game is compatible with iPad 2 because the latest version of beta keep crashing on my iPad and unplayable. Looking forward for the release and hope it's compatible with iPad 2
to Copaeci I changed data model and stopped supporting testers version a few days ago. Don't be afraid, release version 1.0 will be ok for you. It's optimised for iPhone 3gs and iPad 1 with iOS 5.1 and newer. Thanks
Ok, I forgot to email you, but yeah, since the last update (color gradient added), game was constantly crashing, wasn't able to play
Pivvot, Boson X, Duet, and now this? Awesome! Looking forward to a new take on a behind the back octagon runner since I really enjoyed Boson X
