This will be the only NFS game I will ever buy and it will be for iPod. Fast And furious was fun for a while. Hopefully this can out do it. NFS: Shift is just going to be another rushed, but fun for a while NFS game. Looks pretty but its going to lack so much depth. And be just plain repetitive. I love racing games. Having and still own Project Gotham Racing 1 to 4, Forza 1 to 2, Colin Mcrae, Rallisport, Race Driver, Burnout 2 and Paradise, etc. These are games that keep me playing for months. Playing online, completing the game in the hardest difficulty, etc. But NFS has never done it for me. Having played most over the years by renting them. The only drawing point is the cop chasers and the limited customizable cars. Like how boring where the underground series. Seriously who could bother with them. NFS Carbon was the most fun for me and last one I bothered with. But I finished the Career in a day and that was it.
Is anyone bummed that you can't change the engines but you could only change the cosmetic part of the car and there are only 20 cars?
Well I am bummed you can't mod engines, but at least you can modify the physical aspect of your car. And you get three basic engine upgrades, and I think the reason they only have 20 cars is because of the fact that the console version doesn't have many vehicles either?? I don't know, maybe just a memory issue.
Probably a memory issue due to the internal and non expandable(unless you buy a new iDevice ) memory and also I never knew there are 3 basic upgrade of the engine? I might actually buy this on day one but yea I'm bummed too that we can't mod the engines.
i absolutely love fast and furious, great gameplay, great everything if this is better that would be amazing tho any new bout comin out yet???!?!??!
What is it with you guys? What indiciation was there that it'd be out tonight? And why midnight? Do you really think that EA doesn't have their own marketing plan, I'm sure they have a day in mind in which they want it to release and that doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be out at midnight. Every time I come to this thread, it's somebody saying "I think it'll be out (pick a day)" with no reasoning at all.
Ok? We still cant hope it might come out? Ive been looking for the past couple days, just in case. We didnt say it was coming out a certain day, we HOPED it would. Nothing wrong with that

My fault, I meant three basic performance upgrades, two of them being basic engine upgrades. It is going to be a really good game though, judging by the way it looks and its description. Don't waste your time staying up tonight though, I doubt it would come out. I won't crush your hope though
Well the reason I said something was because when coming to an upcoming thread about a new game, I expect to see info and other sorts of neat stuff about the, instead I now have to dig through 45 pages of "I think it's coming out (pick a day)" posts to find any information. If there's one thing I hate, it's when people post "I think it's coming out (pick a day)" and not provide any reasoning at all except for some insane gut feeling they are relying on. These are the reason other people get upset when that date comes around and no game is to be found.
