Despite not loving NFSU I'm still really looking forward to this, and I don't usually go crazy waiting for games like all the random Gameloft ones that came out recently.
I have a strong feeling what I'm about to say has already been said but what ever! Bet this game will be delayed alot!
A likely reason for EA to hold iPhone release would be to jack up the sales of the other handheld versions namely PSP and DS. Lets face it there are alot of people like me whose DS and PSP has been gathering dust because of iPhone. And I bet both Nintendo, and especially Sony would pressure EA not to release an iPhone version at the same day, at the same month or year even if they get their way! If you look at Madden 10 a recent example im going to bet any money that the iPhone version is the best selling handheld version ever, crushing both the DS and PSP version if there is such a thing. Its really not a pretty picture for DS and PSP... DS still lives on through its unique interface and exclusive games, but PSP, Sony is shaking in their boots now.

when I heard it would released on the 15th I was honestly surprised because it's so...early. not getting my hopes up, in fear of being disappointed :|
