NEW ORBIT Episode 2 Announced!

Received this email today from the BLACKISH Dev Mail list about NEW ORBIT Episode 1 sequel:

I'm alive!

After months and months of doing freelance work to pay the bills, I'm finally back at work on NEW ORBIT Episode 2!

As you might know I did the first Episode pretty much all by myself, it took forever and in the end it didn't sell very well. I have lots of people telling me that it's insane to continue on a game that didn't sell, but I love this game and I want to keep telling this story. And I got so many positive emails from you that I'm starting to think some of you might enjoy playing a second episode as well! Thank you very much for that!

Right now I'm trying to figure out ways to get Episode 2 done in a reasonable timeframe without going bankrupt along the way. Yes, you probably guessed it: I'm thinking about doing a Kickstarter campaign! (Or possibly Indiegogo, since that's a lot easier to set up from outside the UK or US) - I'm in the middle of preparing all the necessary content, thinking up tiers, rewards, stretch goals and of course: preparing a brand-new trailer for Episode 2!

I don't need a ton of money to make Episode 2 - in principle I only need enough so I don't have to take on any freelance projects for a couple of months - but of course: the more money I raise the more impressive (and/or longer) I can make Episode 2.

If you have any ideas for great rewards or any kind of feedback you want me to consider for Episode 2, now's the time to let me know! I appreciate all your emails!

So let's find out what's at the center of the forbidden zone, shall we?

I'm personally very excited for this project - I absolutely loved NEW ORBIT episode 1.
