Nova 3 would be nice. On the topic of UE... I would also love a Shadow Guardian 2 with UE, that would be nice With massive outdoor environments and a long storyline.
The voice acting in some of their games is actually pretty good (Zombie Infection, Shadow Guardian, Sacred Odyssey, Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard etc). I've found the quality of their games to vary quite a lot. Which isn't surprising when they have studios in all of the following places: New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Montreal, Mexico, Buenos Aires, Bogota, Sau Polo, Santiago Paris, London, Cologne, Milan, Madrid, Lisbon, Copenhagen, Warsaw, Helsinki, Vienna, Bucharest, New Delhi, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo and Sydney.
Daaayyyum. That's a good point, though which studios are the best (like which ones make MC2 and RB6)?
At least add a "?" to the headline. Using a "!" isn't really indication of a rumour. Rumours like this isn't worth promoting this way. Ow btw... I think Infinity Blade 2 will be an MMO. Lets start a thread shall we?
Well, since iPhone 4 supports Unreal Engine without any problems and slowdowns I think that it will be supported as well, but not the iPhone 3GS.
you forgot Auckland don't leave us out! They're actually starting tons of new studios, it's clear the company has been expanding a lot since they started on the idevice market.
I take your point that the quality of their games varies a lot. And you're right it could be linked to the abilities of individual studios. But I still disagree on the quality of Gameloft's voice acting. If those games are your definition of 'pretty good' then you must have some low standards, because they are in now way good. Its probably compounded by the awful scripts and lame stories, but I have yet to play a Gameloft game that has decent voice acting.
Well IMO the voice acting in some of their games (not all) is good for App Store standards. For example the evil guy in Shadow Guardian was good, the comedic British voice acting in Sacred Odyssey and R6 Shadow Vanguard was done almost perfectly - which I've seen many games attempt, but most fail. Anyway, at least their games have voice acting, I've played too many games where there could've been voice acting but it wasn't included to save money or because they ran out of time.
they also have studios in philippines, vietnam and probably some other location i dont know about. Majority of their voice acting are fail IMO
Because graphics make a game? Uhhhm no? Uhm, no? The iPhone 3GS has the same GPU. Also if they wouldn't support it they would probably not support the iPod Touch 4, because that has just as much ram and that would mean a loss of a MASSIVE ammount of customers.. I think they have a studio in Germany too somewhere.
Graphics don't make a game but they definitely add to the immersion. Gameloft has proven the NOVA series is awesome...so NOVA 3 being epic is almost given. Awesome graphics can only make it better.
really? i don't think so the itouch 4g uses the same processor as the ipad 1 and iphone 4 the A4 chip but the 3gs uses the same thing as the itouch 3g 32 and 64 gb models but i think your right, apple will support the 3gs
Actually I don't think they will. By this Christmas the iPhone 5 will be out (assuming it comes out this summer on schedule) and most of the 3GS users here in the US will be eligible for an upgrade as it's been 2 years for us. Support for the 3G seemed to start dropping at the 2 year mark and I don't expect any different for the 3GS.
I said GPU, not CPU, although the CPUs aren't all too different. Both are Cortex A8s. Also, on the iPod Touch & iPhone 4 it isn't running at 1GHz.
