Oh, I had the frost dragon, so it was really a breeze until around map 9 if I recall correctly XD That's probably why I didn't have to use healers. Good luck!
Which dragon kin is best? If you could pick only one of the three possible final stage dragon kin, which one would it be? And why?
Talent upgrades Anyone remembers how much the talent upgrades cost? It's asking for 300k to upgrade attack from +10 to the next level. Is that normal?
Thanks SJ. Has anyone obtained the Alchemist yet? Does it do anything other than stun? Seems to be weaker than the Cannoneer on all fronts.
According to the DPS spreadsheet the Cannoneer does the same thing as the Alchemist, but does less damage slightly quicker. The DPS for the Cannoneer is 1566 to the Alchemist's 1547. I agree with your assessment that the Alchemist doesn't do anything better than the Cannoneer.
Thanks. Is there a means to farm for coins after defeating the Ancient Evil God? Everything is so expensive zomfg.
If you do all the arenas that's around 100K, though the 50K arena only resets every 12 hours. Other than that, max out your workers as fast as you can (will take a lot of gold/stone, but you'll make it up in a week or two) - will allow you to get 77 gold and 2 bread every 10 seconds (will give a little more than 650K per day). Alternatively, you could get your artifacts up a little, and farm the eternal arena as much as you want. If you start from level 1, by the time you reach ~550 you're making 1k a fight. Takes a while, but not bad gold if you have the patience to get though the first 300 or so levels.
100K 50 K arena twice a day 180K Sell your Luna orb (I only go 3 times a day) 665k If you Max out you workers and only produce gold. For a million coins or in my case nearly a million coins a day, this was established earlier. The arena is something that can be very good and I only just started using this myself when I am low on coins. Most fights early on you don't have to watch and you auto kill. The coins per fight start at around 20 and go up almost 2 coins a fight to around level 500 and between 500-1000 levels they go up a little more than 2 coins a fight to where at around level 1000 you are making around 2K a fight. Obviously this is more end game stuff (your party should be heavy hitters only, focus on fast damage) but if you can make it to level 1000 killing in 1-2 rounds (if you are any slower start over) your average coins per fight for the whole 1000 fights is 1000, therefore you are making 1,000,000 coins per trip. This is not a fast trip but takes no effort and you can do it while watching TV. Upgrading your items gets even more expensive the further you go!
Something else I've found: In the holy-torch dark rift, the bosses run in a cycle. The cycle will always be as follows: Zombie Leader (drops 20 corpse dust, always) Dark Alchemist (drops box shard, sometimes) Unicorn (drops flute shard, sometimes) Giant Sword (drops claymore shard, always) Lord of Thunder (drops electric stone, always) Lord of Frost (drops electric stone, always) After that, the cycle repeats. This is good to know, since no one's getting to level 11 on 200 bread, ever. So if you're farming for electric stones and you've beaten the Lord of Frost, you can feel free to head back home right away rather than keep exploring.
The Eternal Arena in Level 2 Broiling Desert. When I can spare the time, I will start at 1 and battle as high as I can go (currently about 750). You start at 25 coins for the first battle and add two coins for every battle thereafter... towards the end I can collect 1500 coins per battle and they stack up fast. It's about 600K-800K coins. It takes forever though, it's definitely something you have to babysit.
To Jacks point, ideally you need to go 6 levels for the best trip. All stairs are always in the corners of the map. It takes about 16 bread to get from the center to the first corner, and 16 bread to get to each corner thereafter. Therefore you can see 12 corners of maps for staircases given the 200 bread. That works out to 2 corners a level. The problem is the stairs might be in the 1st corner or it might be in the 4th corner you look in. On average it will take searching 2.5 corners to find the stairs. Therefore if on the first level you haven't found the stairs in the first, maybe second corner, exit and try again. If you find the first stair case in the first corner you now can average looking in 2.2 corners a level to get 2 electric stone, or 2.75 corners to get 1 electric stone. If you find the first stair case in the second corner you now can average looking in 2 corners a level to get 2 electric stone, or 2.5 corners to get 1 electric stone. Etc... There are trips to the dark rift I feel I know where the stairs are based on the starting maps and it works, and there are trips where nothing works out and I don't even get a single stone. Therefore it is best if you start off giving yourself the most chances. Each trip down takes around 10 minutes (avoiding all but the necessary fights). If you know in the first minute it isn't going well hit the reset button and start over!
Whats the best way to mine for oracle materials (e.g. cursed essence, dragon gear, etc)? Should I farm souls (coins->crystal->AP->soul) and buy them directly at the market with Souls/Essence? Should I mine coins only, buy the materials in the Market, and use Waukeen to create the oracle materials? Should I mine basic materials (crystal/runes/arcane powders) to give to Waukeen for the oracle materials?
I did a little experiment based upon what I needed to level up my Oracle materials: 3103 Dark Steel, 654 Mithril, 291 Eternium Bar To farm the basic materials to create this much is: 3,103 DS->31,030 Steel->124,120 Iron->248,240 Bread 654 Mithril->2,616 DS->26,160 Steel->104,640 Iron->209,280 Bread 291 EB->90,210 Gold->902,100 Bread 1,359,620 Bread in Total To purchase same amount DS, Mithril, and EB in the market: $2,141,190 At most you can bake 76 Bread without going negative on wheat. You can also only smelt 77 coins without going negative on anything. (1,359,620/76 Bread)*10 second farming = 50 Hours of baking bread (plus added time to convert bread which is converting 382,824 Iron, Steel, DS & Gold/230 workers*10 second farming)= 5 hours of conversion = 55 Total Hours ($2,141,190/77 Coins)*10 second farming = 77 Hours of smelting coins Depends on how much your time is worth it to go through all the conversion steps, but creating bread is a lot cheaper.
Thanks all for the helpful tips. I find that in the Holy Torch dark rift, the buildings around your starting location seem to "point" towards where the stairs to the next level are. Doesn't work 100% of the time, but at least it gives a better starting point than moving randomly. I rolled back to the point before I beat up the Ancient Evil God, just to farm her dungeon. Netting huge gains atm, but its getting boring af.
Also, someone on the Mystic Castle facebook page said that both the five-star artifacts and the six-star Luna artifacts max out at level 30. Four-star ones max out at level 5.
Has anyone beaten the last rift boss and figured out what the 250-point talent is? Given that the others are stat boosts, if I had to guess I'd say it was one that gave either a big boost to DOT, or maybe allowed you to eat even less bread while exploring, but I'm not sure.
No IAP for me?? Hey guys.. I have a big problem here.. I try to get the free IAP every day but it says ad failed to load. In a month I have seen 4 ads only. So I can't progress after map 5. Support just said that in their system just needs 2 taps and closed the matter. Any help???
I don't have an answer to your problem; sometimes I get the "ad failed to load" message but after a couple taps it works. Do you have an adblocker installed?
