I bought it a month ago and haven't played music much with external speaker. Recently I have noticed That it's external speaker is producing a crackling sound while playing songs having a little high bass. Even playing albums like Aqua is giving a very bad output. Is this normal given that iPod touch 3g is a very thin device? It is jailbreaked, so I don't like giving it to apple to screw my jailbreak.
Yeah it just sounds crappy that's all. I have a feeling that speaker is actually meant for playing video games on the iPhone and not for listening to music.
Well I'm not exactly sure what your definition of crappy is but my iPhone (2g) just sounds very bad when playing music. Not so bad when playing video games.
