  2. Not bad. Not bad at all. Good use of filters, nice bouncy, swinging bassline. What plugins are you using? Or is that mostly samples?

I mostly use Toxic Biohazard(Bass+Effects). Some Percussion, so Kick and Snare, are Vengeance Samples.

  4. Not bad. Toxic is a pretty good plugin. Lots of crunchy patches. I've used it for quite a few songs I've done. I haven't really bought any sample collections yet; I've mostly raided places like Looperman and SoundSnap. But I just killed my credit card buying ReFX Nexus. Bloody awesome extensible plugin. But ridiculously expensive if you get the whole pack.

Did you do this for a remix contest, is this a professional mix, or just for your own personal entertainment?

You know.... My friends always laughed at me about a year or two ago(not without reason:D) and I wanted to show them(and me) that I can make a good track. At the moment, or the whole time, I am busy because of school and such things, so I am happy that I finally finished one. So...I think the remix was for me...i dont know. :)

So...I guess you do this stuff too? Where can I find your music?

  6. Well, that's cool; I've always written primarily for my own enjoyment as a creative outlet. You could keep at it. You seem to have a pretty good handle on bouncy electro-house. :)

You can find a bunch of my stuff in this post. I'm actually working on a remix right now for a remix contest; the band only provided vocal samples so I'm basically writing the entire song from scratch. It's pretty fun and is letting me give Nexus a good run. (That post contains a lot of my older stuff too, only the last section is stuff I did in FLStudio.)
