Here's how we'd like to pick the beta testers: Because we only have a limited number of UDIDs we could add to the distribution profile, we'll choose 20 beta testers to play the game on their iOS devices. For all the others who apply, we'll send out Mac and PC builds. The game is a platformer, with virtual buttons for left/right, jump and attack, so it works just fine with a keyboard too. If TestFlight supports some discussion board for all beta members, we'll use it. Otherwise, we may do a single Google Group, to centralize all beta users comments and feedback.
As far as I know, with Test Flight you get an email when a new build is ready and you reply to that email to send feedback to the devs. Not sure if there is a way for all the testers to see everyone's feedback though.
Yes, They do have a discussion board that i think you can use. It's letting me start a discussion. Also how can i apply for the PC build?
Just apply as a regular iOS beta tester. Each time we'll do a new game build, we'll do an iOS, PC and Mac build, and you'll pick whichever you want.
This just keeps on getting better Testflight!! Yea when a new build comes out you just reply to the mail that says new build is out and then the messages go to devs email I think. I hope you pick me as I'm a daily user of Testflight
Muffins, Knights, 15 Characters, Platformer... This is one of my most-anticipated titles of 2011! Right along-side Mini Motor Racing and Bike Baron
The game is built on the Unity engine, which supports all hardware, even the worst ones. There are some cool shaders, but if your PC can't handle it, they'll be replaced with something almost as pretty.
Applied for beta; preparing to grovel in this thread if need be. Either way, best luck with your product. Art design alone looks promising.
