      i'm not looking for documentaries but actual movies.

      I'm pretty sure bad boys has drugs in it.

      But blow is pretty good

      Maria Full of Grace isn't about taking drugs so much as it is about transporting them, but it's still a fantastic movie. It's foreign, though, so if that's not your cup of tea, I'm sorry :(

      They've been mentioned before, but Fear & Loathing, Requiem for a Dream and Trainspotting are easily some of the best examples out there. Anyone with an interest in the subject should have seen them.

      A Scanner Darkly is also an excellent movie but it's focused more on social issues than actual drug use.

      Easy Rider hasn't been mentioned yet. There's also Sid and Nancy (technically a rock biopic, but very much focused on heroin use), and Candy (2006).

      Oh, and probably my favorite Gus Van Zant, Drugstore Cowboy.
