I'm Greg, main Designer/Artist here at newly formed Littlefield Studio, and I'm happy to say we've just published our iPad first game: Mosaic MiniGolf. It's got cute iso 3D visuals, it's got diversified wacky environments, it's got some unique splitscreen Multiplayer. (I wish there was more split screen MP games on iPad...) It's already released but if you've got any constructive comments, we'd love to hear them! drelbs Well-Known Member Jun 25, 2009 11,201 7 38 #2 drelbs, Dec 15, 2016 Looks gorgeous! Looks gorgeous, animates fine, but putting the ball in the hole seems too cumbersome. For example, when close, I mean close to the hole, the power meter just kills the easy putt. Too soft, won't make it, too hard, flys right by. There needs to be som adjustment to the power meter. Secondly, when aiming, play close attention to your arrow. You would think it's in the desired aim point, but it's off at another location. Also to add, if you quit, you start over from the beginning, not good, imho. Not bad, but needs some fine tuning. Will try and contact the dev and there is a tweak to the controls. We'd like to do an iPhone version later, but that will take some tweaking. (if anything we can't do split screen multiplayer on such a small screen). As for an Android version, that's something we may look at later, but it's more complicated. Thanks for the feedback. I agree about the power meter, and how it's a bit finicky when near a hole. One thing we tried what to have the ball not be able to go over it, but it felt weird. Like it's 'sucked in'. We'll see how we can make this better. I'm experimenting with a way to slow down the ball, rather than totally pulling it in. That happens sometimes when the ball is on a slope, as the arrow is 'flat', when the landscape isn't. I agree it can be surprising. I'm not sure what you mean here. You can select your level from the menu, with the slider at the bottom. You don't play from the #1 hole all over again. That would be problematic. (You must log in or sign up to post here.) Show Ignored Content Share This Page Tweet Your name or email address: Password: Forgot your password? Stay logged in
