I created a Twitter to share screenshots of some of the most ridiculous app store reviews people can find... it's just getting off the ground now and user submitted screenshots would be awesome! I always post stupid reviews on my Twitter. Memorable ones I can remeber is someone impersonating me on Kyper, and someone reviewing the wrong game.

A while ago their was this reviewer called Jon who thought that the iPhone's screen was actually heat sensitive when he reviewed 'Heat Pad' (UK Store). Since he wrote the review, he has had literally hundreds of people taking the piss, thanks to his idiotic claim and has even had some poems written about him. Here are just some of the reviews about him:
Using the word "gay" like this is considered hate speech. It's the same as using the "n" word. Just because some people think these words are just slang, does not make it ok. Let's be respectful of all TA members and not use words like this. Let's keep TA about reviewing and discussing games and not name calling and bigotry. Anyway, if you want to read bad reviews- look up one of the xray apps. There are really funny reviews on there from people throwing fits that their phone isn't really xraying their hands. I guess they are disappointed about not getting radiation poisoning!
Off topic here, He was probably joking. No one here has problems with gays. No offence, but it's people like you that make everything so overly sensitive to the joking of the matter that everyone has to have a big fuss over it. I have a couple gay friends, rediculously gay. I mean REAL gay it sometimes scares me lol. But they have no problem being told they are gay are or being joked around with it. Most gay people I know are proud as hell about it and that's awesome, why shouldn't you be? I know a remark like that is a little rough for TA and I will admit that (rules are rules ya know) it doesn't need to be used on the forums, but don't walk around with the mentality that every person that says "This is gay" or "You're gay" is a racist intolerable bigot. Their hurmour is just vastly different from you. You can easily tell the difference between hate speech and simple joking. And calling someone a "Gay" is NOTHING like being called a "N"-word. That word has been horribly used for racist specific purposes for hundreds of years. Someone being called "Gay" should be ovbiously known lol. Now it could be said different if someone said "F*ggot" vs "N"-word. But no one here said that. Sorry just my .02 cents and definitely opinion but I really think people need to revamp idea of racist talking and joking matters. Things as such have been taken way too seriously these days. (race, sexual preference, etc.). I really can't wait for the day when everyone can STFU about race and preferences and just be happy. Worlds away though. /end rant
