Heh, not for me. I've gotten so used to waiting that I'm not even really excited about it anymore. Plus, in the time since it was advertised as "coming soon", I've amassed a huge backlog of really great games I haven't had a chance to dive into yet. I'm happy to just keep right on waiting until EA has their next big sale.
Scary how similar your experiences are to mine. I rarely open an App up more than a few times, due to the influx of new games. It's a shame. Totally see what you're saying, I feel that many people will feel that alienation. I don't think the delay helped much at all.
Glad I'm not alone I think it the catch 22 of the iphone/ipod gaming. Great new games are coming out for relatively low cost or older games go on sale.
Also, iGaming really gets pushed aside for console gaming. For instance, I just picked up "Metroid Other M" and I'm currently downloading "Castle Crashers" on PS3! Doesn't matter HOW good an iPod game is, I'll take console quality first ANY day!
Yup, I hear ya. Probably why I've been spending so much time on the iPhone these days. Have a pretty clear plate as far as console games go until October hits.
