I've been away from this thread for some time, so please forgive me if this has been discussed. I just saw this article related to the game and am wondering if this is part of the reason for the delay (it was supposed to be released earlier this Spring): EA counterclaims Langdells Mirrors Edge lawsuit
Whats everyone's impression of the video? Looks good but the 9.99 might be a bit hard to swallow. Do you guys think that this game could be released tomorrow at the Apple Press event to help show off the new ipod touch. I was sorta thinking something along the same lines as with what they did with Guitar Hero at the last Apple event.
I doubt this will be $9.99, I suspect it'll come out at $4.99 or $6.99, although I'm really hoping I'll be surprised and it will show up at a limited time launch price of $2.99. I think we'll definitely be seeing it at tomorrow's event.
I agree. Especially after this long of a delay, and the fact that the iPad version is currently $9.99. I don't think they'd start the iPhone version out with the same price point as the iPad version.

Well, after this much of a delay, they can stuff a $9.99 price tag as far as I'm concerned. I might have considered paying that back when it was first announced as "coming soon", but after waiting this long already (plus knowing how frequently EA holds sales), I can wait quite a bit longer if it releases for a premium price.

Here's the only mention of price: "Mirror's Edge will be available for iPhone and iPod touch in September. An iPad version is currently available for £5.99/$9.99." It does not say what the iPhone price will be, period.
Ah, after all this wait, I'm happy to just pay the £5.99 and let that be the end of it. Anyone else? We've all been moaning about the delay, and then when it comes about, we complain about the price. Humans, hey!? ;D
I'm with you 100% - although it would be nuts for the game to be released at $10 CAN, it's been so long I don't care about price or content - I just want that little Mirror's Edge icon on my iPod! Knowing me, the game will probably just end up being in the "played once for 2 mins and never again" section of my iPod! (hope not though )

Well not finish it exactly, but some games - despite HOW much I may enjoy them - I play once and never again! It usually has to do with either getting distracted by another game, or just plain forgetting about it! Trust me though, I plan to flesh this game right out to the last second of the credits! *Fingers crossed for an EARLY September release...
