I bet we'll see this showcased at the Spetember 1st 4th Gen iPod Touch event and that's why they went with this low-key announcement. I'm thinking a Sept. 1 or 2 release date.
They're waiting for the iPhone 5 so they can add some awesome new feature that no one's going to care about.
Or just ipod touch 4, so to boost sales making it only compatible for iphone 4 and ipod touch 4. THOSE FIENDS.
It seems to me that they have been working with apple on this one, I think this will be one of the first gamecentre launch games, I bet they have killed 3G support too.
September 2012? It's only two years off, which isn't much compared to how much we've been waiting for this.
one year ? (think) They will publish the game in 2012 - the Mirror's Edge is out on iPhone/iPod Touch. Next you will see is white explosion and then you die
I honestly dont think this game is gonna live up to the hype....almost a year of waiting, and its probably gonna be repetitive, and boring. Then were all gonna wonder why we wanted this game so badly..
1. It's actually been over a year 2. The iPad version got some pretty good reviews last time I checked Google. 3. I assume that the iPhone version more or less will be similar to the iPad so I think it will "live up to the hype"
Out of curiosity idownloaded mirror's edge for ipad,changed it's extension to a zip file, modified info.plist and iTunesMetadata.plist as per this guide i found on ipodtouchfans.com.the thing installed fine on my iphone 3g but when i open it all it does is play the mirror's edge music...nothin else.....What a waste of time and resources!
You can go to google and check it out, guys had some great results to make the game work on their iPods lol
