this app is labelled as coming soon in the EA app descriptions. I believe them now. They had some errors with the last build and have been updating it to make it a better experience for iPhone!

Oh boy. If it actually comes out... it better be the most damn perfect game available on the App Store.

 

And by the time the iPhone 5 comes out, we'll all be saying "I still expect the iPhone 6 to come out first."

I don't think it's ever going to happen. They probably gave up and decided to leave it as an iPad exclusive. It shouldn't take any company about half a year to port a game from the iPad to iPhone/iPod Touch, especially one like EA.

No there isn't... You cannot run an iPad on an iPhone app.

I given up on this game.

Any hope that Mirror's Edge will be demoed at the Sept 1 event??? That would be just around the corner..... one can hope!

 

The game was demoed near complete on the iPhone before the iPad was even announced.

It would have been a day one purchase for me, but I'm getting a lot less impulsive. I haven't really enjoyed many iPhone games I've purchased recently, and I'm starting to feel like I'm just giving my money away for no good reason. Lately I've been buying kindle books and audiobooks for my phone instead.

So basically EA could have had my money if they'd followed through on any of their rumored/hinted at release dates, but now . . . Like I said, I'm feeling much less impulsive and much less of a need to have a game just because it's available for my phone. PoP WW was the last game I bought that I truly felt like I got my moneys' worth. The fact that it was so overlooked by iPhone gamers shows that iPhone gaming may not be moving in the direction I'd like to see it go.

 

Wow, the event is on Sept 1?... that's a lot sooner than I thought it would be (I hope that's when they announce the new iPod touch).

But why would EA delay the release just so they could demo it at the event?
It's already been released for the iPad... and it's already out there.

 

Ah damnit, one more post about how much this needs to come out won't hurt anyone.
