hey guys I just came from a conference and I know everyone is sick of waiting for this game and are giving up hope but I have special insider news that ea is debating on releasing mirrors edge this Tuesday or next Tuesday ,I wish I could give more info but it cost me my job I am a mac tech on an internship program with apple to become a software developer,anyway ea is debating on mirrors edge right now or their new sim city game to release first and of course everyone want mirrors edge first ,and to alot of peoples comments yes ea are kind of jerks to debate a game that has been long awaited by so many people . (sorry this is off topic) but I was able to port and get working marvel vs capcom on my iPhone can someone get me into contact with a dev team to make this possible for everyone to play cause apple will not approve this software especially without license or all the legal matters involved but this would be great for people with jailbroken idevices,I would put up a vid but I'm not sure if that's legal on this site
No, the iPad version was a port if the iPhone version--the game was shown running on an iPhone months before the iPad was even announced. TouchArcade and others had iPhone previews nine or ten months ago when Apple hadn't even admitted they would make an iPad. The game was expected on iPhone last January, at the begining of April EA said iPhone gamers would be playing it before the end if April, at the begining of June IGN reported that EA said the game was coming for iPhone any day, and now they say it's still in development. They can have whatever plan they want, but it's annoying that they don't seem to have any thought out plan at all. They keep changing their minds and then lieing about things.

And the reason their debating to release m/e this Tuesday27th or next tuesday aug 3rd is because they have to release madden11 aug 10th to collaborate with the console versions release , so it has to be now or way later for them to release mirrors and they realize now is much better
