Huh, I thought this would be released by now. I mean EA doesn't have any other major releases pending nor did they recently release any major iphone games. What's taking so long?
I'm thinking they're just waiting til the ipad hype is over. They keep saying that their development team is working to bring us the best experience possible (which I think everyone on this forum knows is crap). This game was finished 5 months ago. So all they really want is more money
See that's what I was thinking but hasn't the iPad hype pretty much died down by now? Then I though maybe there was a problem in development (like NSFU) but there can't be because... well it's already out on the iPad! That's a very good point. They might be waiting to showcase it at WWDC or who knows, even upgrading it for the 4G's imminent faster and more powerful processor
My guess is that they are waiting for the iPad to be released in Europe, in order to maximize sales of that version. I wouldn't be surprised if the iPhone version is finally released a week or two after that.
They announced the game and then released it with the ipad which probably led to a lot of sales. Now they are waiting until wwdc to show of the game with a high res screen. It just sucks that we need to wait.

They definitely don't see the iPhone as low priority right now; or ever for that matter. The Iphone OS platform is a huge part of their revenue stream now. I wouldn't call ~50-60 million potential customers low priority.The part about the iPad hype, maybe though
yeah but dude...think about it. This game was finished in January. They advertised it last December. The iPad version wasnt even announced at all. And as soon as the iPad was announced, thats when all the delays started happening....you see? They see the iPad as priority. Otherwise they wouldnt of released the iPad version before the iPhone one

Also remember that the ipad hasn't even been released in countries outside of the US which account for a large part of the market for EA. I can imagine they will wait till it has worldwide release... then wait a few more months... and then finally release it on the iphone. There is no chance people will buy the expensive ipad version when a cheaper iphone version is on the market.
