it couldnt be an iPad exclusive- its a friggin port from the real consoles. This game probably sells for $20 at Gamestop, go get the real version...you really want the game? Get an ipad? It'll just suck more on the iphone...

Not only is it not a port of the console game, but the console game involved a bit more than a Canabalt type experience. Didn't enjoy it on consoles either though.
I got my ipad on Friday and this was the first game I picked up. I really like the game but was really waiting for it to come out for the iphone. I have to believe that it is still coming out for the iphone because that is where they are going to make most of their sales.
maybe the morons at EA are waiting for the release of ipad 3g rather than the release of ipad in UK.Don't think that many people in UK will buy ipad in the first place and even those who do , gaming may not be their top priority.
I will probably still buy the game but I must say that watching time go by knowing the game is just sitting there waiting to be released is kind of annoying. Why wait for the few extra sales they might get for the iPad version when they can just release the iPhone version and get tons of sales from the start. I'm just saying it has been close to a month why wait any longer?
Perhaps they are trying to maximize their total sales, rather then just maximizing their sales for a specific month.
My point is it has been close to a month. If EA is worried that the iPhone/iPod version will reduce sales of the iPad version then why? By now anyone who was interested in Mirror's Edge and owns both an iPad and an iPhone or an iPad and an iPod Touch has already purchased the iPad version I'm sure. If they release it now they are just going to be increasing their sales and maybe even increase the iPad sales if people who buy the iPod/iPhone version like it and spread the word to friends that might have an iPad. If they think keeping Mirror's Edge on iPad only for a couple months might help sell the iPad then all I can really do is laugh.
You're sure, but you're wrong. None of the people who are purchasing the 3G version of the iPad have gotten it yet. I am (supposedly) getting my 3G iPad this friday. If there was a $6 iPhone version and a $12 iPad version today, I would probably get the iPhone version now. If there is only a $12 iPad version this weekend and no news about an iPhone version, I will probably get it.
So apparently SimsCity Deluxe is coming out on May 12th this pisses me off more! Where the hell is ME???
FIFA World Cup by EA release today, so ME probably dead... and EA not intend to release it on iPhone/iPod.
hahahaha this game is never coming out! hahaha, why do you guys have such faith, how could an ipad version magically come out months before the regular iphone version if they were seriously planning on releasing it on the iphone and ipod touch hahah, it doesn't matter to me though it honestly looks terrible, sorry for those who were desperately in need of it though

I have it on the iPad, and it's actually pretty amazing. Honestly. Good move editing the line about the video, by the way. That would have been an easy pwn.
yea I was just speaking out of my a$$ about the video thing, but honestly, all you did was buy a $12 canabalt, you just like it cause you're a die hard iphone fan that usually likes anything thats crisp, smooth, and quality, but the actual game looks boring, uninspired, and intelligence draining
