I don't think this will be released due to the ipad. I have read that apple has deleyed the ipad to the UK. I don't think EA will release it to the iphone until after the ipad. Why? Because they can sell it for so much more than on the iphone. If they made it avaiable on the iphone first then there is not much incentive for people with the ipad to get it. I heard that the dely of ipads to the UK will be for a month or so. I don't expect this to be released until after the Ipad version. Not in the UK anyway.
Should I point out that iExist is engaging in pure, unadulterated speculation? We have to idea when this is coming out, but I'm pretty sure that the release has little to do with the UK launch of the iPad.
Yes you are correct in assuming that I am speculating. My assumption is based on how the developers have reacted to the release of the ipad. They pretty much all concentrated on the ipad when it came out to get in on the action. What I said above is logical to me. I like the look of this game but I would understand why this game would be delayed for the ipad. If I had to make the decision I would release it on the ipad first to get more profit. Most people would buy one copy, that would be the cheaper one on the iphone. It makes business sense to do that. Now I could be totally wrong and this game could be released next week or even tomorrow. However, I would not be surprised one bit if it is released after the ipad version in the UK at least. I don't see why it would not be released in the US market where the ipad is out already. Maybe they are worried people outside of the US will still get it. I don't know, I'm guessing here. Also please note that I hope I am wrong. I would love to play this game. It looks like a spruced up version of canabalt which I enjoy playing.
Frankly, I have no problem with your speculation -- you made it clear in your post that that's what it was. I got a little miffed because others were treating it as factual information, and that's how internet rumors get started. Forums can act like echo chambers sometimes. Currently the iPhone/iPod Touch market is 80 times larger than the iPad market. Even if they were to sell the iPhone version a bit cheaper (say, $9.99), they would still get far more sales with an iPhone version than with an iPad exclusive. I understand the marketing value of being "first on the iPad," but that's pretty much over by now. My guess is that we'll see this release soon. That was speculation, folks: don't quote me on it .

i lost interest as soon as i heard it was delayed...typical EA...just another NFSU scenario...i like to think that the guys at EA walk around like the gentlemen in this video
^^ There's an important difference.NFSU was delayed because it wasn't complete.This game's delayed despite the fact it was finished ages ago.
