No because I loved the First Mirror's Edge, where they went wrong was the story and some wonky gunplay. However the game had amazing graphics on the PC, especially with Physx and it looked like a Valve game. Loved the atmosphere and art style the first person created and loved the melee fighting.

Third Person just takes away from what I loved about the first game.

    I do agree, however,

I think that seeing as this is an iPhone game, First Person would have been a bit difficult to control for a freerunning game..

Exclusive as in not coming to the iphone?

I am sure that EA could sell this for $6.99-9.99 on the iphone. I know that I would buy it.

That's only the iPad version. There will be a iPhone/iPod version aswell; EA has already stated that.

It's not really out considering no one can play the game right now. Pretty sure the iPhone version will show up very soon too. Most probably before or on 3rd April.

It is coming spring 2010 meaning very very soon

    EA Site

Odds are we will see it by April 3 or shortly after that for the iPod/iPhone.

I find funny that the real Mirror's EDGE game costs only $4.99 more than the iPad version.

Well, if the game doesn't come out within 10 hours, then it's definitely not April 3.

I find it really hard to stomach these mobile versions of real console games. Nobody should opt for this instead of the real game unless you don't own a home console.

According to more than one reviewer, the iPhone version is better (as in more fun, more satisfying) than the console version.

I own and LOVE the console version and I plan on picking up the iPhone version as soon as its released, I can't wait to get my hands on it. I know it will be different from the original, but I think they've created a cool world that I just want to experience more of. I'm glad its not a direct port and something a little different.
