OMFG. I thought the reset button restored the default settings like sensitivity and volume adjustments, but I reset all my achievements (had all but two), and lost my world unlocks, as well as my high scores! Why on earth does the reset button warning say "Are you sure you want to reset?" and not, "Are you sure you want to reset all data on Meteor Blitz?" >=[ Huge bummer for me.
Just played the lite and loved it, thank god it is still on sale , I only had £1.01, downloading the full one now.
I've had a few crashes since the update, but with one crucial difference--when I reopened the game, my level progress was saved rather than completely lost, which used to be the case. I definitely consider this an improvement and don't doubt the devels will work it out. The game looks a little sharper since the update, I think. Good stuff.
Sorry, I imagine this has been asked before: I've noticed that when you unlock a new world and then die, you can start at the beginning of that world with all the upgrades you'd bought in the previous world. How exactly does that work is? Is it: 1) Whatever upgrades you had when you first unlock a new world determines what you'll have whenever you start at that world. 2) Every time you beat a world, it resets the upgrades installed at the start of the next world. Or something else? I can think of a couple other possibilities, just wanna be sure before I replay an old world. Thanks. EDIT: Never mind, I see that it's option 2)
awww :[ i just got my left 2 achievements which were reach 20,000,000 or was it 200,000,000 points haha and the "get all achievements" achievement. Omg i hate the added effects of the new update, like when your shield breaks and the whole screen shakes ugh...makes me think I died or causes me to do die.
Oh man, really sorry about that, TBOH. You're right, the reset button warning text needs to be changed!
Hi, just in case anyone is interested in following an indie game developer in Vietnam, we've set up a Twitter account. We're gonna try to post to it daily! http://twitter.com/alleylabs
This game is hard. I'm on the first planet and can't get past level 3. And then it forces you to start over. Why not just let you start the level over instead of the whole thing. Very frustrating. There is only so much of that start over bs I can take before a game gets deleted.
uhm. because it adds a lil something called challenge to the game. and if ur only on the first world unable to get past wave 3....then..ur better off just deleting the game because it only gets harder as u progress.
The... THIRD LEVEL?!? FIRST WORLD!?! Yeah, just delete it right now. And each world is five levels long. There's a checkpoint after each world.
Challenge is good, but in this case I translate 'challenge' as 'time wasting'. Seriously, who wants to spend their life continuously redoing the same level? I can't imagine those who reach 1 million on scores. How long does that take? I can barely hit 17,000. Oh well, at least it was only a buck. I got my hour out of it.
