That's pretty amazing for an unknown property (even if it's inspired by a well known game).

Been playing this all day since I saw the review on the front page. Damn this game is so good!! I was beginning to wonder if the whole genre of dual thumb shooters had peaked. I'm so happy this game has put that thought to rest.

Sales have been really great so far, much better than we had hoped for!

We only have sales data for the first 6 hours because Apple's daily reports end at midnight PST. We'll have our first full day sales data tomorrow, and that will be very interesting.

Also just found this link, it displays all App Store reviews in all countries:

    http://www.moopf.com/appstorereviews/appstore.php?appid=328194605&urlappid=&submit=Get+Reviews

It's really interesting, until now, I didn't realize separate countries used separate rankings and reviews (although it makes sense =P).

Wow, you have some nice reviews there.
It is strange that there are hardly any reviews from non-english speaking countries.

Congratulations, I hope it continues! It's always nice to see a game do well based it's quality instead of a brand name or big marketing budget.

The way in which you say it gives me the impression that it isn't too difficult the first time through, but more so on the second time instead. Is this correct?

sorry, no that is not correct. just post asking how long it took everyone to beat the first five levels to get to the second world. i've been playing since last night and i just got it today. it's not difficult to start, but it ramps up. getting past level 5 to get to the second world requires you to get pretty proficient with All of the moves. i can't say beyond that, but the ramp of difficulty makes me think it will take a good while to actually beat the arcade version. previous posts will tell you how perfect the ramp of difficulty is and how friggin hard this game becomes once you work your way up to it.

The first couple of times I played, I got to the 3rd world. Then I hit a wall on the 3rd world. You can restart on any unlocked world, but I still had trouble.

haven't had time to try much today

Snagged LE7E7KF9HWN4. Much obliged. I most definitely will leave a review in the app store, although that may not be until tomorrow morning. It's getting a wee bit late here. Thanks again.

As far as first impressions go, this is quite nice. I was afraid that the bomb would be activated only by shake. It's good to have a button for it instead. Frankly, I'm never fond of games that require shake for a crucial function.

I really like that there are variable speeds depending on how far you press the virtual stick. Much better than strictly on and off. I definitely like the auto-pause when my fingers leave my Touch. That's a pretty good feature to have for such a game. Kudos.

At first I was kind of perplexed that there was no sound to my shots, but I actually find it a bit of a relief as the droning of such can get a bit annoying in other games, so I think it's a good thing there is none for it.

Too early still to write a review, but I can already tell that this will be a great companion game to Isotope: the only other arcade shooter I've liked so far.

Yet there's one thing that could need improvement: the menu buttons. Talk about ugly and dull! Other than that everything else is peachy, just get rid of the bland boxes. It certainly is no game-breaker, but it stands out quite a bit.
