So, stupid question but can someone explain Swords and Soldiers to me? Is it basically a castle defense? The only one I've ever really liked was Army of Darkness due to the controllable hero.
Have you played Legendary Wars? If so, it's just like that. You send out fighters to defend your castle and sometimes you have to take down the enemies castle as well.
I win in having more RPGs still don't worry xP. You have to get Across Age DX man. It's definitely one of the best top-down RPGs. It's a JRPG that plays like a KRPG, except with very limited grinding, varied quests, and an excellent story. I'm sure you'll like it. The Hybrid series by Gamevil is also really good. I love their RPGs. You might want to check out Queen's Crown too. It's a pretty fun KRPG and definitely one of com2us' better games. Other than those, I'd say you're pretty set on KRPGs for the iOS man. Oh, Heroes Lore III by EA isn't half bad either.
Sigh.....I have those too except just picked up Across Age. Looking for some others to hold me over when im on my cross contintent plane trip. Hell I dont care how bad the translation is just a good ol KRPG will do fine. BTW im sure I have more rpgs than you!
Thanks. I don't think I've ever played LW. The name sounds familiar but unless it went free awhile back, I definitely haven't. I'll look at some gameplay videos of LW. But from what you describe, it sounds like AoD without the controllable hero?
On the iOS at least, I assure you that you don't xP. Across Age DX should be good enough. It'll last you between 20-25 hours. Axiom is another decent KRPG that I've completed. Terra is another decent one. Beyond those, you're stooping to crappy generic KRPG ports straight from mobile phones riddled with horrific translations and terrible gameplay.
Whats Axiom I cant find it in the app store?? And yes I am stooping to crappy generic KRPG ports but dont know where to start. (sometimes I like frustrating myself lol)

Can anyone list some games that are like Hybrid: Eternal Whispers gameplay wise? Is Eternity- Garden of heaven good?
Just bought volcano escape as well. Its alright, controls can be a bit off at first. BTW pros with bros is free, add me injuwarrior. Can anyone name any good vertical platformers.
Caligo Chaser is similar to Hybrid Eternal Whisper. Not sure if that's what your looking for??? Skip on Eternal get Axion instead! Its okay but the controls in Eternal are pretty bad not as precise as I would like.
Yup, second the bad controls. Caligo feels too much like a grind compared to Eternal though (worse than Eternal). Third Blade could be an option, though gameplay wise it is much less 'technically' demanding than Eternal in terms of combos, button timing etc. And the overall pace of action is slower (even 1/2 speed setting in Eternal).
Had it, but not really a platformer so much as a vertical endless jumper. Looking more for stuff like blocks cometh, firetop adventure, and volcano escape.
