Imo, Undercover was the best of the NFS series. For a buck, you can't lose. Ah, now it makes sense. I was wondering why he would go on to describe GDS yet there was no story for Puzzle Agent. When somebody posts "PA", the clear answer for me is Puzzle AGent. Plus, somebody above me did the same.
Haha sorry I meant pocket academy. So, to rephrase my question: which is better if I loved gds, Hot Springs Story or Pocket Academy?
Okay, as the sales round out, i have just a few I'm hesitant on, and I'd like you guys to fill me in on the question marks for these games: Transformers: is it just a dss or is it really good? pros/cons? Tiger Woods: is the gameplay good? Max and the Magic Marker: is the gameplay good and is there alot of levels/replayablity? Mirror's Edge: No clue on this one... Scrabble: how good is it? Titus: i'm thinking on this one, but how much content is there? any cons? RC Plane: is the content that comes with the original purchase enough? (yes, I know i'm picking at possible weak links, but I'm lookin' to make a purchase or two and wanna pick the best Edit: and is diversion good too?
Transformers: its a good DSS. Multiple upgradeable weapons. Variety in that you sometimes have to transform and drive around in your vehicle form. If your a fan of Transformers well worth a buck Tiger Woods: is the gameplay good? Max and the Magic Marker: Good platformer, plenty of levels Mirror's Edge: Good game, its like an endless runner, but with an end. Scrabble: I just play Words with Friends Can't help with the other 2.
Incredible Machine or Casey's Contraptions? Loved Incredible Machine as a kid, but TA boasts about CC.
^ Not sure if you're aware but Incredible Machine now has the original game (complete with the classic graphics) in its entirety inside. So if you loved IM as a kid (like me), then I think it's a no-brainer to grab it by default. I have CC but haven't had a chance to play it yet.
Wanting to know about Titus also... if I jump will report back but I fear it's just a clever collection of minigames.
Max and the Magic Marker: Hours of gameplay. Get it. It's cool. Mirror's Edge: This was the first game I played to completion on the iPad. It's a great game. When people describe it as an "endless runner", sure it is, but it's at the top end of that genre, with great graphics. Highly recommended.
Not to mention, there's same-device multiplayer one the iPad. Best part about the iPad version in my opinion, making it a winner. On the iPod, it's an alright game if you're a fan of the sort of thing.
