Same! I don't like RPGs or time waiting games and stuff like that. I want stuff like First Touch Soccer, Bumpy Road, Mighty Fin etc. FTS ain't casual tho
I wonder... should I answer? Answer... GO! 1) Some sort of pong console (long gone) 2) Atari 2600 (still have it) 3) Commodore 64 (still have it, and a C128 and a Plus 4) 4) Sega Genesis (plus SegaCD & 32X) 5) Super Nintendo 6) Sega Saturn (about the same time as the Playstation so it might not count. ) They're not consoles per se, but I've got TRON, Power Drift, Zybots and a 6-slot NeoGeo MVS in the garage... Handhelds in chronological order: Merlin, GBC, GBA, NGPC, GBA:SP, DS Missing from the above list is a NES and N64... For a long time I've had a few NES carts (first one was Elevator Action) and played them on my brother's NES. Got me a $20 fake NES years later (one of those housed in an N64 controller shell with "1000 games"... It's got Elevator Action. )
I had an old 486 PC and I used to play Warcraft 2, Dune 2, Scorched Earth, and Snake and Gorillas in QBasic on it. Also had an SNES and NES.
Guys, what kinda is Sword & Sworcery and is it worth it? And can you recommend any kind of game with big story or just some game that isn't so casual. I wanna play some big games too
1972 Magnavox Odyssey,1975 pong(1979 sears intelavision) and atari 2600 sometime christmas late 70's. those where the days...beats tiddly winks and pick up sticks
Some impressive replies in here I already knew drelbs and SkyMuffin had good taste in retro gaming, it makes me feel better knowing I'm not just talking to post-Dreamcast era gamers Not that it's their fault, but come on, people deserve to play the classics! It's the same with film, music and literature, if you're really serious about the subject you'll explore the history
I had an NES, SNES, GB, and N64 all before PS. I also lived in Japan for a bit and cut off the plastic pieces in the SNES slot so I could play Super Famicom games. I still remember having to ask my friends at school what to do next in FF V because I had no clue what was going on.
I feel I should mention that what I said was merely a passing comment and was in no way intended to throw the thread off-topic Someone start recommending games, quick!
ok pocket god:jtu, call of mini:zombies, feed me oil, stupid zombies, impossible game, or any other .99 app. i have all of the really popular ones already, and i also have a 2nd gen itouch so i can't play alot of t he gameloft and ea games.
Call of Mini: Zombies reportedly has been crashing on iTouch 2G but otherwise with a fix it's worth it for $0.99. The mechanics work well and it's fun. However, each level is the same with progressively more varied zombies and some of the unlockables are so distant to attain it seems freemium. Still a blast. Stupid Zombies, which I got when it went free, was not to my taste but the developer does seem active in supporting it. My bias is against physics based games so your mileage may vary.
BOT - has been quite different from other iOS titles. Vector Tanks Extreme! - Classic. QWOP - Silly. iDrop Dead: Flower Edition (or unlocked) 6th Planet Aftermath Duck Hunt AR Red Conquest Wriggle Vector Rally Dungeon Solitaire ...OK this list is degenerating. Last $0.99 cent game I got that runs on 2nd gen touch is Chroisen, which is pretty good if you like KRPGs.
