Hey, I'm currently put of town for a week. Could someone pm me a list of games that release on Wednesday? Impressions would be nice as well, but that's unnecessary. I just don't want to spend my time browsing TA. Thanks in advance!
i read in the 1977 thread that the game's controls still suck, they just suck in the opposite way. I don't have the game, but I was considering it if all the problems ever got fixed. I guess it's not gonna happen. btw, do you think call of mini will go into the gameboxes?
Wow, I didn't even know CoM was by Triniti. Thanks for the heads up. I actually went to take a shower just now and was about to download both games until I read this. Nevermind about CoM. Doesn't matter how good the game turns out to be; that company is trash. Will just be getting Chroisen then. I'll see what's up with the controls for 1977 though. Don't have time to play games in the morning, lol.
Electro Chuck is a pretty awesome new game, No one really took any notice of it because the first version had a bug that prevented it being played on most devices, hence why it never for featured, But now the bug is fixed and gameplay is awesome and different, never seen anything like it before in the AppStore, and is now down to $1.19 from $2.49 Also gave "circle run" a go, and it's really slow, and alson, something about it feels awkward, wouldn't get it until after an update at least, love the pixel retro style about it though, looks pretty rad, shame the gameplay isn't. Flying wings is cool but the controls are so hard and collecting all the stars and nectar seems impossible, Graphics are beautiful and the game could be fixed if they increased the size of the collectables. 1000heroz isnt worth it right now in my opinion, u less you just want to compete on the leader boards, may be worth it later on when a bunch of levels build up, but right now there's nothing exceptionally great about it apart from epbeing intrigued about what the next day will bring, Wisp is quite nice for a dollar, bought for the iPad but the controls are a little annoying but may be an option to change control settings, haven't checked yet, reminds me of the game "bazzle" Art style is beautiful, love the goddess style art, Reminds me of the oracle cards apps by Doreen virtue called goddess , 8.99 from the app store, bargain considering her card decks are about $40 in real life, i have 6 sets and if anyone is into tarot she's the best way to go, storm in a teacups néw update is cool, and is a must have in my opinion. And joining hands is a brilliant new puzzler in which I am in love with right now, definately another must have for the iPad! ($3.99 universal) I personally think there the best games released recently. And of course bumpy road, still one of my favs, MUST HAVE
hahaha. why do you hate triniti so much? and yea, imma wait for your impressions. what?!?! 1000 heroz is brilliant. get it NOW while you can still compete on the next 993 or so levels.
Call of Mini is a worthy game; priced right at $0.99. I do understand the disdain for Triniti but they've evolved some for Call of Mini.
Regarding Call of Mini the game view is in 3D third person but the dual controls work well and are fun. However, there are limited maps so multiple levels (aka "days) occur in the same environment and that feels a little cheap. It's a lot of fun getting swarmed with zombies and the zombies are slow so don't immediate devour you which gives a nice chase feeling.
Sounds and looks like fun. So in your opinion, is it worth just forking over a buck for it now or waiting for a possible sale?
Go to the thread in the iPhone and iPod Touch Games section and ask Photics not many impressions have been made... yet... I have bought BOT but haven't played it because I have to study for final exams...
IK what photics thinks of it... I read a bunch of the upcoming thread. I've got a ton of credit, I just have like 50 things I don't have room to dl onto my ipod (literally-24 uninstalled now and 26 or so updates I haven't downloaded on either. )since it's a big game and all....
Actually, Triniti has a handful of decent games, it's just that: 1) The company has been pretty sleazy in the past (and banned from TA for some of their antics) 2) Often their games get rolled up into their Gamebox games, which you can usually get for a buck anyway (if you can dedicate the space for them) and/or go free at some point in the future. 3) They don't usually update their games much either, aside from bug fixes. That being said, they have some playable games, and if there's something you want to pick up for a buck, play for a few days and delete, then don't let the naysayers dissuade you.
They got banned from TA for shilling - one person created multiple accounts, pretending to be multiple people, to promote their games.
I think Call of Mini is worth the $0.99. A lot of Triniti games have eventually become temporarily free but I don't know how likely it is that a newer game will drop to nothing anytime soon especially with the positive buzz surrounding Call of Mini. I, however, am tenatiously waiting for Triniti's KRPG, Devil's Quest, to go free so I understand the sentiment.
