Hey guys, I'm trying to get my parents to let me get Chinatown Wars, but I just need to double check that there's nothing in it other than language really. What's the sexual content, other than what's found in the green dumpsters? I need a relatively quick answer. I'm trying to catch the sale and have about 3 hours left.
It looks REALLY crappy, and people seem to be agreeing with that. Crusade of Destiny or Welcome to Hell (apparently) would be much better choices for the same price. So, can anyone answer my above question?
I've heard mixed reactions about it, so I can't really say. And forget my GTA question. My parents decided to use GTA's past record and the "If everyone jumped off a bridge..." card. Why does it have to be the one game I really, really want... I hate this.
Yeah my parents seem to also hate the concept, a fact I could see if I was some sort of homicidal maniac who is influenced by a video game, or that I am going to go do/sell drugs because I saw someone do so in a video game. Nor am I going to use the f word as a regular adjective, verb, or adverb because it was written in a game I played. The bridge thing came when I told them that pretty much everyone I know has a newer GTA game and seems to have turned out to not kill random people for fun or (for the most part) don't go around selling drugs. Just a question, but they don't disrespect women or anything right? That was the first thing that came up when I pointed out that it was a GTA game.

There's sexual humour and references in the dialogue and the dumpsters like you mentioned, but that is really it. There is also a mission where you have to drive carefully as a couple is having sex in the back of the limo your driving
Like I also asked before, any disrespect to women? First thing my parents seemed concerned about when I brought this game up.
Hmmm...not really. At the beginning there is a girl who the main character casually suggest he would like to bang and there are references to strippers and the like throughout the game but no real concrete situations disrespecting women
Oh. Thanks for the info, I think I may have the ability to convince my parents now. Maybe. It's still worth a shot.
Why don't you just tell them that the iPod version is nothing like the console versions because Apple would never allow anything too vulgar on the AppStore.
