The Asphalt series and Fast Five are both better than the NFS crap. Lol, none of them are even close to 100 MB though. I'd say Fast Five is the best arcade racer on the iOS. Of course it has retina.
Im with ya but I have all of those that i want (except for fast five). Since you probably own them all, what was the best fast and furious, the game, pink slip, or adrenaline, and is it so bad that I should not even consider?
They're worse than the NFS games. People are only making the first game so popular since it's $0.99 and after seeing the movie, they grab the cheapest one from the series because they don't want to fork out for Fast Five, which is so, so much better. It's not just years ahead figuratively, it's literal as well.
Okay, Ill control the urge to buy one of them. But I personally like Hot Pursuit better than all the asphalts. But I do not have fast five, so I cannot judge that. I thought asphalt was too fast, even for an arcade racer. Hot Pursuits tempo felt just right.
Yeah, HP was the only decent one. I don't know if it's better than the Asphalts though, meh. I don't play them that much in any case. When I do play a racing game, it's mostly Real Racing 2 online with some friends. Played some Death Rally recently too of course. Third feature this week by Apple since it came out 5 weeks ago or so ago.
I don't want to get too off topic, so ill stop with this post. Yeah, shift and undercover where pretty bad. Of course real racing 2 is the best, probably followed by real racing, but we all need the more forgiving arcade racers as well. I also hold top downs in a completely different category. I will have to take a look at fast five, because it seems to be getting more praise. Feel like I could place well in an asphalt race with my eyes closed. Anyway, thanks for helping, ill be sure to avoid the f&f racers . Edit: Okay so I had to try the F&F lite, and I saw firemint in the startup. I guess they helped make this game or maybe more of them. Thought that was pretty cool.
Can anyone recommend some underrated games for the iPad (native or universal)? I'm looking for a good time waster, but something that goes a bit deeper than just jumping around (unlockables, collectibles, different characters, etc). I really enjoy rpg games, racing games, card/board games, but I don't enjoy shoot em ups or complex strategy games. I have most of the "mainstream" and "popular" games out there, so I'm looking for things that deserve more credit than they get.
alright, got 10 bucks. Haven't bought games since the easter sale (and only was able to spend like 5- including gears which was an exception). what do I need?
Lol, it's only been a little over 2 weeks. Honestly nothing too amazing has come out since then. There's a few good casual games out of the many, many that came out though: Siege Hero, Army of Darkness Defense, Catch the Candy, being the top three. First Touch Soccer is also pretty fun, especially multiplayer. They're all only a dollar each. Any older games that you're looking at? May has been pretty slow so far. Oh, Foodies is good as well.
@phattestfatty spoing also looks very good, but I have not bought it. Sorry backtothis, but after trying the both f&f light versions, they are kind of what I was looking for at the moment. So Ill ask again knowing that I want one adrenaline, or f&f the game.
Samorost is really short, but well done. Not much replay value, or length, but it's just one of those "experience" games. I guess it depends on the price, atm. (whatever it is)
Hey guys. What's the best game that came out this Thursday (release) that I should get? I already got catch the candy.
Army of Darkness Defense and Spoing are both also pretty good. Nothing else too interesting came out. Meh, just don't get the original game.
Not disagreeing. Adrenaline it is. Wanted a racer with minimal space, quick menus, and runs on older gens nicely.
