Thanks for the suggestions, but not exactly what i am looking for. I am talking about puzzlers with less levels, where each level takes longer and is more immersive than the average. Also, I prefer excellent graphics for puzzlers, not a certain kind, just very polished. I would think there would not be too many if any for what I ask, but I just thought I would try after playing 4 hours of goo yesterday.
Aralon for the first two. Sentinel 3, Army of Darkness Defense, and Zombiesmash are all top notch defense games. There's tons of fun endless runners. Hook Worlds is probably my favorite. If you consider games like Tiny Wings in the same genre, Pilot Winds is excellent. Tilt to Live and Silverfish are both brilliant survival games as well.
Thanks ! necromancer rising looks almost identical yet its by a different publisher? and Ive got Scooter XL, will try out Infinity Project, thanks a lot.
Nah, NR is by the same guy. It's just in someone else's hands now. It's more like an alpha build of ME though..so it's pretty bleh. Hated ME and thought NR was even worse.
NR was created by the same guy and whilst its not as good as ME its still great if you like ME like me.
Just not my thing I guess. Got the collector's edition on day one and was sorely disappointed. Put a little over an hour into it and freed up the 350MB soon after. It's one of the few games that were popular TA that I just didn't like at all. Funny thing is I'm a huge fan of RPGs and love FPS as well. If I ever 'wasted' money on the AppStore, I'd say it's the $10 I paid for ME.
Hahah, I don't know. I just didn't think it was fun. Doesn't matter. Lol, I like S&S. Going to finish it up this weekend. It's all preference.
what do you like about it? I mean, I buy a game for the gameplay, not the music, which might be why i'm a fan of it.
The music and visuals make it an experience that's immersive. It's something very fresh and polished in every way. I like games that aren't just thrown together. The gameplay is pretty basic, but it's really a point and click adventure at it's core, and a hell of a good one at that. AKA, it's the story and immersion the game is trying to bring us, not gameplay, which isn't all that horrible in this case anyways. The new featured list is out. From the looks of it, Metalstorm is GotW...lol wtf. Death Rally is being featured for the third time in less than two months..xD. That's a record for the AppStore.
I'm looking for... A game like Army of Darkness. i.e. CD with control over a hero. A Space Shooter game. i.e. Pew Pew 2, and why I should buy it even though I already have Pew Pew 2.
Yeah, I didn't like it either (didn't like Necro Rising either). I think the dev does a decent job with game mechanics (like skills, leveling, etc.) and story, but gameplay and artwork just weren't there for me. The artwork frankly could be a lot better. Models are pretty low poly and not very pretty, textures are low res and not designed well - they're too busy. In a lot of the screenshots, there's so much going on with the textures, text, UI, etc., you can't tell what's really happening in the game. So the look of their games really needs some work. Heh, I bet Crescent Moon could do wonders with their games like they did with Aralon - that would be a good team up.
Are there any good Spades or Hearts games for the iPhone? Preferably Spades, but it seems that there are more Hearts games available overall.
Hey guys! I'm going on a school trip for a week soon, and I'm not sure how often I get to charge my Touch, so any ideas for 'battery-light' games? Thanks! :>
Hmmm... well here's a few: League of Evil Run! Solipskier Rogue Runner Land-a Panda As far as I know those are pretty battery light.
Looking for a low space taker arcade racer. So what is the best fast and furious? Do any of them support retina? Any other low space takers (less than 100 mb, but exception made for quality) that are better than all three?
