Puzzle Quest 2. There's a storyline, but its easy to play as a casual game, plus has online play, assuming enough people are playing.
I like: Battle Blasters SlotZ Racer Carcassonne (not simultaneous, same goes for Neuroshima Hex & Vector Rally) Bombardiers Guild Freeway I haven't tried Forget-Me-Not or Minotaur Rescue 2-player yet.
I loved both Highborn, a funny TBS that doesn't take itself too seriously, and Space Miner HD, a cross between RPG and asteroid shooter/arcade thingy with a great story and funny characters. I played both games all the way through and would say they both fit on my top 10, especially Space Miner.
Both of these are great. Hamlet (or the Last Game without MMORPG Features, Shaders and Product Placement) is a little short, but hilarious. I think I'm warped, but iDrop Dead: Flower Edition has brought me probably the most laughter overall on iOS.
what would be the best fighter on the iphone (ssf4 for example) i have seen quite a few, ssf4 is my top pick atm but i have seen some reviews on the appstore that say it is awful. help?
I would love happy wheels but how would they work in all the controls? Plus i'm pretty sure allot of the levels would cause tons of lag on idevices.

REALLY ???? Another bad week of releases. The only game thats looks good is Army Of Darkness. Maybe I'll pick up Thor. Have to spend some money.
Yeah...looks like I'm only picking up 2 or 3 of the new casual games. Only Army of Darkness and Catch the Candy even look good.. Probably spend the rest of the card on some older releases. Thor doesn't have the best impressions, and I found HoS2 horrible, so I'll pass on it. @FB: FTS plays a lot like X2, so I guess I'd pass on it unless you're just dying to spend money/want the latest soccer game. I still think FIFA 11 is better. That LoL article on the frontpage by Hodapp really got my hopes up... @holyshoot: Check out Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior. Other than SFIV, I think BLDW is the only other good fighting game. UMK3 and BoF are pretty terrible, and there's really no other half decent fighting games I know of.
Fast Five even though i hate asphalt? I dont think TA has reviewed it, so iv been hesitant to pick it up.
You should wait until they do. It's bound to come soon. I really don't recall the last time they didn't review a Gameloft game, especially if it's doing well on the paid charts. They'll get to it when they have time, I think.
Maybe for iPhone people but I'm personally excited that star front and Hector are both finally on the iPad. Kinda strange though that game loft delayed the game for so long and didn't optimize it for ipad2 Edit: btw good to have you back crex
Yes easily imho - its a quality game and I know the developer is planning to support it well in the future (they've already announced that there will be an update which turns it into a universal iPad app at some point).
Lol $3 on a Wednesday night; that's a record for this year. Only got Army of Darkness Defense, Spoing, and Catch the Candy. Going to get Metalstorm: Online when it's out tomorrow. No idea how much that costs though, but yeah, let's see if there's any hidden gems in Apple's new featured list tomorrow..
