Soccer Superstars 2011 improves over the first SS with better controls and option to more readily change players. I recommend is especially at $0.99.

Regarding Soccer Superstars 2011 versus First Touch Soccer. The button controls in both games are almost identical. Both games have a meter that controls kick/throw/shoot intensity. If storage capacity is an issue Soccer Superstars is much, much smaller in size.

The soccer physics in First Touch feel a lot more real and the playing field seems bigger so down field rushes feel more intense (the camera angle in FTS is more dramatic). The goal shooting is First Touch Soccer feels more precise and difficult. First Touch Soccer is the more realistic soccer game of the two since Soccer Superstars feels more arcade sim. With longer fields, better camera angle, and more realistic graphics (than Soccer Superstars) FTS has better soccer physics and is more immersive.

Soccer Superstars often feels more frantic (in a good way) since players are more cramped onto the smaller field so it's more difficult to evade opponents. In Soccer Superstars it's easier to switch the player you control since they added a button for that which is a very nice upgrade. Also, soccer superstars has a "skill" button that allows random show-off moves or jolts of speed (which is missing in FTS).

Soccer Superstars is a servicable soccer sim that is fun and the one I prefer but if you're a soccer fan or dislike retro graphics with superhero players than First Touch Soccer is your game. Both worth it.

I haven't played foodies yet but Destructopus is fun having a variety of moves and a cheesy scifi enviro theme; unexpectedly decent side scroller. Foodies might have more longevity.

There really aren't many 4th-gen speifics...it's just the retina display mostly that's there.
