What's left to blow out. Every single one of their games have been down to a dollar already many, many times with the exception of MC2, their most successful grossing game. Not to mention, quite of a few of their games are permanently $0.99. EA has always done better than GL in terms of sales and success since many of their iOS games are from or based off of popular franchises that everyone knows about. There seems to be 15 EA games permanently in the top 100 at all times. Currently, with the sale, there are 26 EA games in the top 100. Gameloft wouldn't be making a smart move if they put games on sale now since EA has already topped the charts with too many of their titles. It'd be a much smarter move to have a sale after the EA one has ended and with EA's games lower on the charts. That way, GL would be able to sell a lot more units since they won't have any direct competition.
List of suitably awesome 99 cent games you should buy (dunno about Gemcraft or '77) : NBA Jam Silverfish Pix'n'Love Rush League of Evil Hook Worlds ZombieSmash Monster Dash Dead Space You probably have most of these, but just in case, I included some very obvious must-haves as well. Enjoy!
No particular order: - *Galaxy on Fire 2. - Max and the Magic Marker HD. - Scrabble HD. - Lego Harry Potter. - *Bug Heroes(currently free). - Dead Space HD. - Cross Fingers. All solid choices that are either universal and/or HD and currently on sale.
Is Max better in HD or play anywhere with my ipod touch? The iPad is usually at home. (when I get one ) and is there a way to play multiplayer on the same device for scrabble?
The reason(s) I like the HD version better is the larger size and it feels easier to draw on the larger screen. You can never beat on the go gaming, and the comfortable feel of the smaller device other than that and for a buck a pop ATM, you really can't go wrong picking them both up. For Scrabble HD, yes you can do either pass n play or party mode by downloading the scrabble tile rack(free) on yours and your friends/family's iTouch/iPhones and use them as controllers with the iPad as the board in the middle. There is also local and online mulitplayer so there is many options and it is one of the best games I have for my iPad partly for those reasons alone. A steal at it's current sale tag.
Death Rally or Reckless Racing Wanted to know if I should get Death Rally or Reckless Racing HD for iPad?
Ok i have been wanting Final Fantasy three for a while. I am about to get a 25 dollar giftcard and was wondering if i would better spend my money with lots of small games or one big game. Also how replayable is FF3? Thank you
5 bucks to spend, what should I get? I'm considering World of Goo or Swords and Sorcery. Any suggestions or advice?
I don't have/can't play S&S, but World of Goo is honestly the game of the decade. If you haven't played it on any other platforms before, it should make its way onto your iPod RIGHT NOW.
Get S&S this FREAKIN SECOND NOW!!!!!!!! It needs to be on everyones idevice! It should be mandatory!!!
Well if you haven't got dead space (99c sale) I suggest you get world of goo and it, but if you have dead space get sword and sorcery I have 1 dollar left and don't know what to get with that, any thoughts?
pretty replayable if youre willing to replay it there is loads of different 'jobs' basically character classes that you can focus on and theres alot of content its obviously better than the ds version because of the better graphics and bugfixes but yeh its replayable
well sword and sorcery is a small game (about 2-3 hours) so if you're looking for game-time then don't get it, if you're looking for the most artistic experience of the app store then do if you're not sure what you want then i guess wait for something to come out WOG i haven't got a clue about though i don't have it. you really just need to think about what kind of game you want then it should be easy to choose this/that/nothing
