I've decided to see whether the iPhone 5 does come out in June... if it does, I'll get it, obviously, and if it doesn't, I'll snag a 4G Touch to last until October. Btw, I can't wait to get NBA Jam for two bucks! Slam dunk! ( super cheesy pun intended 100%)
Fast Five and Soccer Superstars 2011 joins the list of great new releases tonight. Wow, what a night.
I don't think they'll be announcing in June/July. As far as rumors go, they will begin shipping the new iPhones in September (like you said), but they usually announce it a week or so before that.
My list for tonight: Sword and Sworcery!!! Fast Five (hopefully it supports second gen) Chicken Balls But, I'll probably be to busy playing S&S that I'll forget about the other 2.
It's 3rd generation and up kiddo. Gameloft has long moved on, heh. Hm, does Chicken Balls look good? I'll check it out then I guess.
This may be a stupid question, but Dead Space once it goes on sale? I wasn't around when it came out so I missed all the hoopla. Will definitely be picking up NBA Jam as I've been waiting for that sale. I have no idea what the new releases for tonight are but I'll check them out.
Other than being purple awesomeness as you said before, what exactly is S&S? As in gameplay and genre? Edit: Just checked a couple pages back and saw Backtothis' post, checking the article out now.
They're mostly on the frontpage on TA with the exception of Fast Five and Soccer Superstars 2011. Dead Space is pretty much universally acclaimed to be the best iOS single-player experience that's ever graced the AppStore. There's no question about how amazing the game is. And hell yeah, NBA Jam is a blast as well.
Awesome. I will be picking them both up as soon as the sales hit then. Will wait for member reviews on games like S&S (like others, I'm not sure I get it), Fast Five, et al. I may pick up Chicken Balls though, despite the appearance which I'm not impressed with. I have trouble resisting physics games with good gameplay.
Yeah, this has to be EA's best sale yet. They're dropping their top three iOS games to a grand total of $7. No joke man, physics element games are always tons of fun. Man, it's going to be hard deciding how I'm going to spend my $15 tonight..
FIGHT NIGHT! Heheh, best game of the genre on the iOS no competition. Not to mention all the other EA games that are going on sale as well. Max and the Magic Marker, FIFA 11, and NFS: HP are three other excellent buys.
Fight Night didn't interest me at first glance since I'm not big on fighting games on iDevices. I have SFIV but haven't played it much yet since I have an insane amount of games to catch up on. But I'll at least give it another glance. NFSHP won't be getting my money since I'm just about to dive headfirst into RR2, another game I bought while on sale despite not having an iDevice.
Anyone else having trouble in the app store? Wouldn't update an app so I logged out and tried logging in and it won't :/
