And has been free in the past. I would play the other games first and pick it up when it inevitably goes free again.

Amazingly, after having my eye on quite a few games last night, I ended up picking up nothing.

(I would've gotten World of Goo but I don't have a newer generation)

Plannin' to pick up World of Goo, Relic and the IAPs for Bug Heroes. Sounds good or is there a better way to spend my money?

I'd avoid The Relic for now. Horrible feedback, game seems to be totally unpolished, poor controls, and AppSpy gave it a measly 2/5. Other two definitely sound like good choices.

Too bad, it looks like a game that looks quite fun. Interesting seeing good-looking games getting horrible reviews, and games, that look so awful, I don't even bother getting the lites (Bug Panic for example, or pretty much any other CAVE stuff).

How's Legendary Wars? I heard the dev being interviewed on the latest Slide To Play podcast, and that made me really curious.

Of course, I really enjoyed Plants vs. Zombies, and I know LW has more gameplay elements going on, but I was wondering if it was just as fun and charming. Just wondering if it's worth my time!

Yes, worth your time and dollar. There is a free version to sample if you're into trying before you buy.

Neuroshima Hex core game has a bit of a learning curve; the core game is more robust but the Puzzle edition might be quicker pick up and play. Try the lite version first. NH is a game I really want to like but haven't been able to get into.

Is it kinda like a mix of Battleheart and PvZ? Sadly, Battleheart didn't fully click for me because I didn't play WoW back in the day.

I have the same feeling...I've tried the lite but don't want to spend too much time on it.
As you said, the Puzzle edition seems to be quicker and to suite better for a casual gamer like me (usually I play 1-2 hours after a day of work so I don't want to play something difficult or hardcore!)..and it costs only a buck.
I will probably buy the puzzle version and, if I liked the game, I will continue with the original Neuroshima Hex game!
Thank you for your words :)

Sounds like a great way to spend your money. But yeah, The Relic plays pretty crappy right now.
