hey i just bought lhp but havent played it yet... is the story the same as the book? and is the "lego" part as good as like lego star wars?
i've never been a huge fan of mc2 myself, but i enjoyed asphalt. I'd pass on it though. I liked asphalt 5 but didn't really enjoy asphalt 6 quite as much. If you want racing, go for rr2. world of goo is going to be great as well! P.S. When is S&S coming to iPhone/iPod!!!!!!!!
The game indeed follows the books, which is truly awesome as you get to see how they translated the story into a Lego world. Hell yes, the Lego mechanics is awesome, and you can "interact" with just about everything once you get most of the spells. The free play mode is of course still here! That's the best part.
That's wonderful but what about the games . So is the game by itself good enough to warrant a purchase to someone who hated the books/movies?
Just story and free play like every other Lego game lol..xP. @Beast: I corrected it before Jdragoon quoted me, heheh. Yes, I think you'd still enjoy it. It's probably the best, or one of the best, adventure games that the iOS has to offer.
Pretty much just story mode where you have a couple of cutscenes and have to be certain characters and free play where you can be any character you've unlocked (some characters have special abilities) If you'ved liked any lego game or harry potter i'd say this app is definitely worth it.
Well i never really got around to finishing most of the books, procrastination rules. But I saw most of the movies. I love this game. It's also a port of the DS version so it's rather high standard. btw, I wanted to qoute your entire reply with the quote you had in it, did i have to multiqoute for that?
Well for quick first impressions, get this game NOW. It's a very pleasurable little platformer that looks, simply put, god damn amazing. Haven't gotten far at all or anything but seems to follow the books to the T really. This shit is awesome.

Actually, once you've unlocked a bunch of characters, you're allowed to have a team of 10 I believe per level. Each of them will have different abilities and spells that will help you unlock the secrets of each level. It's damn awesome. Play through the entire story mode first before playing free mode heheh. You unlock special characters and special spells through collecting lego pieces that are just about littering the floor everywhere. Just go play!
Just got my weekly card xP..$15.06 in my account for tomorrow! I'll probably pick up the CAVE shooter I don't have as well if tomorrow's new games don't cost too much together. I wonder what's coming out in any case. World of Goo of course. I heard The Relic is going to be here as well. Anything else notable coming?

The invention of toucharcade has continually killed my wallet which only gets replenished on holidays!!! I'm going to buy LHP I hope they make star wars though..
