Does anyone here have any interest in Music games? Any opinion about ReRave? or maybe other recommendations?
No answer for your question, sorry, but could you tell me about Inemeri? I clicked the link, and it looks intriguing!
It does... so much in fact I signed up for the beta but I have no idea how to get it or anything. I know nothing about it.... share please?
If you have the means to, Jubeat on the JP iTunes store is amazing as is Tap Sonic on the KOR iTunes store. Taiko no Tatsujin on the JP is great, too. For US, you've got TTR and Rock Band obviously. muBlip is another lesser known game. ReRave is having a lot of issues right now because Ward was apparently not working on bugs and had a really short and small sample for beta testers. It sort of screwed him over for a smooth release, so I would avoid any IAP's until he gets timing and bugs fixed.
Actually, except for anything they posted on their website and the TA thread, I also know next to nothing. From their website: "We get inspiration from our favorite games which have unique aesthetic qualities (The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past®), immersive environments (Shadow of the Colossus®), great story and pacing (Half-Life®), and innovative gameplay (Another World) that we admire." The quote pretty much what makes me interested in the first place. Thanks for the recommendations, I've already own TTR and Rhytmatic. Those other games looks interesting, too bad some of it are not available on my country iTunes. But I think I'll grab muBlip, it looks cool and the rating is nice!
In my opinion and an average of 200 U.S. iTunes reviewer's opinions, it's a 5 star game, but there's always a lite version to try it out.
Say What? I don't have any problems with it. I've played this game and ReRave's interface, songlist and gameplay experience is outstanding to what I've seen with tapic or TTR. They already released a 1.1 update and as I understand it they have 1.2 coming in a matter of days? The game is incredibly fun and very addictive. I really like the song selection so far and the fact that there are zero ads on the screen. If you haven't tried it you are most certainly missing out. The built in profiles & ranking system is top notch and really intuitive.
Maybe the update fixed some of the glaring problems that were present at release. It was basically unplayable for me at release, but I'm a hardcore music gamer haha (IIDX, Pop'n, etc). I will be pleased if ReRave stays solid and keeps it up.
I'm the closest to buying Mission Europa I've ever been. Hey backtothis, all of your recommendations to me in the past have been great, and you have practically every iOS game ever. How do you like the game?
Music arcade gamer always looks awesome! There're always a bunch of people surrounding you to watch you play (especially if it's a hard song). Well, I'm one of that people that like to watch every time my friends tag me along to video arcade to play Technika.
I *just* got a $25 gift card.. which 9.99-er? Mission Europa- I know everyone's gonna say to get this, but I'm still including it for some reason... Carcassonne- I know nothing about it, other than "it's good" Peggle for Mac- I already played through and have the iOS version, but I bet it'd be cool on a bigger screen Peggle Nights for Mac- I could always get the IAP, but again, the big screen version would be nice Anomaly: Warzone Earth for Mac- looks cool and has some good reviews online I know, I know, I post way too much in this thread.
