Mass "What should I get?" Thread 2011

I had enough time to play CoS for at least 2 hours just now . I have got to say , the storyline is very good . The humour is subtle yes , but it is evident with the consistent use of puns etc . It isn't as humourous like AoZ but it is still funny when you see them .

 

Is LHP really that great? I know that crex recommending something is a +9,001, but i haven't really seen any reviews of it. I'll look around at it for awhile.

 

Yes, it is great. It's a port of the DS version so I'd start reading a review of that version (everything is the same besides a few cutscenes missing iirc)

 

Regarding Zombie Crisis 3D 2 $0.99 sale I'll advise against. Instead of dual stick shooter goodness you only control character moving and dodging, shooting is automatic. It seems like a missed opportunity and I prefer at least a platform style shoot button.

Just starting Tactical Soldier: Undead Rising but so far so good, will post solid recommendation feedback after more lengthy play through.

 

True, plus I´m a sucker for hand drawn art. Hector EP 1 is great too, try it if you haven´t.

 

You need Revolt, thats my favorite DSS. And Mushihimesama BUG PANIC which now has online multiplayer which is really fun.

Have any of you guys played Astroboy_Tap Tap Rush? I've heard it's a really good platformer with RPG elements.

 

I have about 16 denaro left. Was thinking about Tactical Soldier: UR, mushmassmuch Bug Panic (why couldn't it just be called bug panic?), Mission Europa (standard edition), and Kami Retro. Any suggestions...

 

If your thinking about mission europa I'd say wait it out till you think about buying the collectors... you'll regret not having those really cool armor sets

Have the poor controls in Legendary Wars been fixed? I'm considering that game.

Also, what are some good semi-casual games? I'm talking about things like PvZ, Battleheart, etc.

 

Yes the controls have been fixed! And I definitely recommend it while its on sale.

As for semi-casual? hmmm. Kami Retro? Sonic 4? Hot Springs Story?

Im considering rolando 2 and legendary wars, which i believe are both on sale. Are they both worth the time? Any good alternatives for around the same price?

 

Rolando 2 is an absolute steal at 99cent with the added retina display. There is a good deal of content and diversity. I'd also get Rolando 1 as well as they are both solid purchases to own.

 

Played the first 2, and is HSS that much of an improvement over GDS? They have the same concept anyways though, so any other suggestions for semi-casual games like PvZ or Battleheart?

 

They are both AMAZING games. For 99 cents each, I say buy them both now. You can't go wrong with them.
