Secret of Mana is not as grind heavy as a lot of iOS KRPGs; I paid full price and it's easily worth the sale price.

If you like action RPGs then you already have it... if you're unsure try cheaper KRPGs first [so Yes, get Secret of Mana].

SoM and it's not even close. FF1/2 are the less desirable Final Fantasies that Square-Enix keeps porting to every system ever known.

Hmmm... you say FFI and FFII aren't that good? Have you tried Chaos Rings?

I played FF1/2 when they released the GBA remakes (which is basically the same as what we received on the iOS) and I bought the iOS ones just to support Square-Enix. But, I think it's clear that they're starting with the lesser ones and moving slowly towards the more popular games since it makes sense to do so. One of the issues I see with the older FFs is that even though the graphics are redone to look nicer, they still suffer from certain archaic game mechanics that no one ever uses anymore (and for good reason). FF3 has this issue too. Of course, if it doesn't bother you, then by all means go for it. But for someone getting started with JRPGs, I think there are much better options available. Of course, this is all just my opinion, and I'm sure there are people who really enjoy 1/2.

I haven't played Chaos Rings yet. It's been sitting on my device for awhile, but I just haven't gotten around to playing it. I really should though, thanks for reminding me.

    It's freaking amazing actually.

Max and the Magic Marker is brilliant for anyone wondering.

    SoM>CR>FF1>FF2 for the SE sale.

Thanks for ending this once and for all! I've no interest in SoM, so I'm downloading Chaos Rings now, thanks!

Ah, the early morning insta-buy. It saves me from much doubting!

Hey guys, I'm looking for a game similar to Space Miner: Ore Bust. I really enjoy the upgrading concept and addictiveness of it. I also like quick and addictive games like Fruit Ninja, Angry Birds, and Doodle Jump :D

Anyone have a second opinion on Illusia? It has very mixed reviews.

    A few other "mining" games:

I Dig it 1 + 2 - although these are more mission based
Spice Miner Blast - the arcade version of Space Miner
Terracore Adventures - very similar, but without combat

Mission Europa is a great game that plays very well on all devices.
Aralon is more of a tradition action RPG but there will be more lag.

I would say buy ME. The dev needs the support and the replay value is huge. Just give the game some time and you will love it.

Ten bucks to spend. Secret of Mana, Land-a Panda, Forget-Me-Not, Robot Wants Kitty and what? Also, sounds good so far?

Mission Europa: Collectors Edition. Will keep you busy for some time! :D

Actually, the above list is pretty good. Got: Dungeon Raid, Rails & Trains, iStunt2, 6th Planet or Spectre 3D?

Was thinking about it for some time.. then tried out my already downloaded Necromancer Rising. The graphics didn't bother me, but the controls totally ruined that game for me. Did they get any better in ME?

Nope, none of them. Which are the ones you think I'd be interested in? Dungeon Raid is off the table as I'm not really fond of match three games.

Balu, grab everything you listed plus Max and the Magic Marker. It's amazing. The games you listed are all excellent.
