A game that looks pretty good but haven't played is meow meow happy cat fight dual stick shooter. U probably have it but looks good. I don't own though
I'm not sure about Risk style strategy games but Highborn and Knights of the Phantom Castle are both mico-strategy games you might enjoy. Highborn has a lite version.
Few iOS games will have cutting edge graphics; if you're stuck on graphics then Mission Europa might not be for you. However, if you enjoy first person shooters or games with more character customization depth then the gameplay in Mission Europa is really nice. The best way I can describe Mission Europa is as a serious game with more longevity and difficulty than standard cutesy iOS casual markets. I've been playing on my iPod 3G with no frame rate issues; overall a really smooth games. Edit: Mission Europa also has a cutting edge website tracking character customizations, individual achievements, and multiplayer rankings - http://www.missioneuropagame.com/
Yep, it's one of the best twin-stick shooters available. It is different from others in the genre because you face AI opponents that fight back, instead of hordes of mindless creatures.
Is Forget-Me-Not worth the last 2 dollars in my account? I will likely buy it eventually but was tempted to save the $2 for the early April releases. it seems good but i don't understand what you do in the game.
Tough call; both are good games. Meow meow happy fight has more gonzo madcap run 'n gun gameplay but is shallower and more casual. Bug Heroes is more strategic seek and destroy with tower defense and RPG style upgrading. If you absolutely must choose one I would hesitantly go with Meow Meow Happy Fight because it's a good go-to pick-up-and-play with some fun power-ups. However, Bug Heroes is an excellent game also. Either way you couldn't go wrong. The art styles of each in a good indication of the content.
Bug Heroes I actually found MMHF to be one of the more dull DSS that I have purchased. The polish is definitely there, but the game is just too repetitive. You go level to level attempting to get the most kills at the end of the time limit. The only replay value comes from unlocking new characters. Yes, it is a new take on the DSS genre, but in my opinion, in the wrong way. DSS have always been about the rush for me. It's just not there with MMHF. Bug Heroes wins by a mile for me; the depth is just all there. But then again, I've always hated casual games, and MMHF is definitely as casual as it gets as far as DSS are concerned.
That's pretty hopeful thinking, but that'd be nice. The Relic should also be coming soon. First heard of the game nearly 2 years ago, and it's finally finished. Anyone have any idea on what's up with FFT: WOTL and FFIII? I thought those were releasing this month as well. Don't want to through the mess that's in those threads at the moment..way too many off topic comments.
Ooooooh... I forgot about those. FF3 should be out in March, but I think the other one was pushed back pretty far
Hey guys, I haven't been using TA very much for a while. Any really kick-ass (read: amazing) games come out in the past few months? Games as amazing as JCS, and PW and PvZ and all those?
Hey guys anyone know of any casual games out there that take advantage of the iphone 4's retina display. Ive played alot of the common ones out there such as flight control ones and such, I am looking for something new that may not be heard of and can keep me busy
Land a Panda is really well done. good retina graphics and the dev is coming out with more levels soon.
My vote is for not I nor II. Chaos Rings and III sound fine. You could also wait for FFT, but just keep in mind that it's not a standard FF. Of course, Chaos Rings isn't an FF either.
