Word, thats one of those games thats been sitting on my device that I haven't had time to play. I recommend Kami Retro. It has great bright colorful pixel graphics and is a fun creative platformer.
My theory is that there are people building post counts on fake accounts so they can later spam about some crappy game using a ~40 post account rather than one with 3 posts.
In all honesty, I don't he's too far off from the truth. Every day when I first get on TA, it's like bam, a ton of new threads still in bold in the game discussions section. I'm like, wow cool, tons of new threads. Then, I read over the titles like I just did three minutes ago..I think I clicked on one thread total plus this one. What the hell is all this crap?
I just looked at a couple threads and all the posters were people who joined this month. This is really getting out of hand.
Stop whining (with all due respect), it could be worse. Anyway...Espgaluda 2, Puzzle Agent or Papa Sangre? Steppin up to the bigs ;$
Thanks. Anyone else (question is DH2)? I know it's a big sale, etc., but it's a Gameloft game, so it has 80% chance of being shitty.
should have to have posted x amount of posts before you can make threads or a system where you can rate down threads and if say x amount of threads you created get thumbed down then you get suspended from creating them for x amount of time (increasing on each 'offense') i know its a bit of a strange way to think about it but i think it would at least work a little if possible there could be a system were if a thread gets say 10 'thumbs' down then its automatically deleted, they have that on other sites
+1 I'm actually quite surprised that TA doesn't have a post count requirement for making threads. I'm guessing the reason is because that would limit devs as well.
+another1 With the system you mentioned, junior members could just give threads "thumbs down"s, so there would have to be a restriction on who could rate them down as well. And I can't even count the number of threads that simply ask which of two games is better. One of my first posts was something saying that there should be a "which game should I get" thread, so it's understandable that newcomers to the sight would make so many threads.
That kind of defeats the purpose of a forum. People come to ask questions, why should they be stopped from doing this? I mean, I personally don't know what threads you guys are complaining about, but I don't think we should make people post X amount of times before they can make a thread, because then they'll just be spamming anywhere.
I understand where your coming from but you can report spam and then that person will be prosecuted ib some way i honestly think our mods do a good job in controling spam say 100 'good' posts and then you earn your right to make threads anyway ignoring this i fully believe that a system where you can rate down threads would work, x amount of thumbs down = tgread deletion
In a way, with either of these systems, you're just causing problems by trying to solve a problem. For the thumbs down system, threads will get deleted, but it may not be fair. For example, if a developer makes a thread for his/her game, and for some reason people don't like the icon, the developer, the screenshots or something stupid, then it'll get deleted, which I don't find to be fair for the developer. And for the post requirement system, like I said, people will be spamming. Yes, the mods are doing a great job now, but when new members will be spamming everyday 24/7 to meet the post requirement, things will get out of hand. And you guys will start complaining about that. I don't think anything should be or needs to be changed. Like I said before, I don't know what threads you guys are complaining about, so I don't know if there's something actually wrong with those threads or you're just getting annoyed for some reason. Are you guys complaining about threads asking about which game(s) people should buy?
