Mass "What should I get?" Thread 2011

Game Dev Story.

 

Hot Springs Story or both.

 

Should I get 6th planet while it's 99c? I only have a buck and Dead Space and NBA Jam might go on sale soon...

 

Yeah what's it like?

 

So far one vote for gamedev and one for hot springs....anyone could do a summary of those games for me?

I read review for both game dev story and hot spring story and I would want both but unfortunately I have money for only one. How to decide?

 

Hot Spring Story is less likely to go on sale being a newer release... also, I understand the general consensus is it's a more favorable game. Personally I wouldn't recommend Game Development Story at full price (no challenge) but I haven't played Hot Spring Story yet.

 

If you like dual stick shooters then Pirate's Cover is nice... many levels with upgrade system so a little bit more diverse than the average dual stick game.

 

HSS imo just get it, its great GDS is more likely to go on sale soon. pick it up then

 

If you were to buy one game from the past week what would it be? $1 to $3 range.

Essentially, I'm more of a pick up and play guy, as I am mostly playing on the subway to school or on short breaks...
