Oh, that's a bummer. It works like it does on the 4th gen. Well, besides the 2 CAVE shmups, I'd say SIIG would take third place. Phoenix and Lightning fighter are also very good.
I know that this is a wildly off-topic question for this thread, but my iPod froze, and I want to run its power down (it's frozen on the home screen). Should I do this, or would restoring via iTunes be better? Will my Gamecenter achievements and high scores be saved if I restore? PS Sorry once again for the off-topic question, but I know this thread gets a lot of traffic. PPS I guess this is what I get for running Infinity Blade on a 3rd gen Touch.
If you attempt a hard reset (home button + power button), it's bound to turn off. You might have to do it for more than a few seconds though. Turn it on again by just holding the power button for a second or two. If that somehow doesn't work, let the battery drain.
Hope this list helps: League of Evil Legendary Wars Real Racing 2 Karoshi Aralon: Sword and Shadow NBA Jam Bug Heroes Pheonix Wright Hot Springs Story and especially Dead Space!
As amazing as that list is, you're forgetting Infinity Blade. EVERY 4th Gen owner MUST have Infinity Blade.
Can someone give me a few "must have" iPad games? I use my iPad for EVERYTHING at school, but I've avoided games since pretty much everything I've played so far is just a bigger version of an iPhone game, which leads to uncomfortably placed and sized controls. However, I have shelled out for 3 games recently: Infinity Field, Battleheart, and Infinity Blade. Battleheart and Infinity Blade both have simple and interesting control schemes, and Infinity Field is the first game I've played that got the virtual joystick right on the iPad. So now that my skepticism is waning, can anyone recommend me some more games? Aralon: Sword and Shadow looks right up my ally, but is it worth $9.99? What are some other games that I should look into? Please nothing like Angry Birds, Fruit Ninja, etc.
Are there any other games like Sword of Fargoal? I know of 100 Rogues and Cavern, both of which I tried but didn't like as much mainly because of the movement system and the more turn-based nature of the game as opposed to SoF's more free moving style.

Amazing Blue Fugu is a good one-hand game on the iPhone. Next .99 cents special offer coming up for St. Patrick's Day!
There is the Gamebook Adventures series, the newest Fabled Lands (haven't tried the app ver myself but the books are great), the usual Fighting Fantasy series and not to forget Starbreed.
